Do you use physical brakes at all on the drives with regen set to low? I don't think you'll notice any difference in wh/mi unless you're using more disc brakes, thus converting potential energy into heat.

That's correct, all of those actions listed are done automatically and invisibly in the background. Unless you have a Model Y, then off road mode would activate equal front/rear power bias, or a Model 3 performance in track mode, where you could tune the power bias and regen amount.

Some people say regen braking causes the rear end of the car to feel unstable especially when braking down hill or around corners, what's your experience in that regard? And I assume you have winter tires on your car?
Same thing happened to me twice, one time it broke the undertray. I replaced it myself for $90.
It's probably too cheap of an item and too easy a fix to go through insurance, unless somehow you have no deductable or are unable to get under the car to swap out the panel.
All the bolts are in place as shown in the photo, the plastic undertray finally ripped apart after being driven into curbs aren other objects over time and wore thin.

Keep us updated, but from experience, I've never heard tire noise getting better as the tires wear in. They always just get louder and louder as they age for me.
I think what you're describing is simply a short coming of the Model 3 chassis. Unlike other brands of cars at the $50000+ price range, there's no secondary frame with rubber isolators that connects the suspension arms to the chassis. There's always going to be more noise and sharper vibrations...

What you want is something like Koni Yellow (adjustable) or Reds (frequency select damping). Not coil overs.

Definitely could be filled in with touch up paint and lightly sanded over to make it look 90% better. Look up ChrisFix's video on youtube on fixing scratches. You don't need to do that perfect of a job since it's at a place that's almost invisible unless you're a gnome.
Check/post it anyway. I wouldn't be surprised if your video shows the rear wheels locked and sliding on snow, and the front wheels are rotating as the car starts to "roll" away.
