You can also try to put some pressure on the installer to commission at least the PW so you can manage it. If they say it is commissioned already then you’ll need to call Tesla.

Actually, in that view there is the battery buffer, so I would say reserve is set at 15%. When mine is set to 10% that view shows 14% when it’s at the reserve.

Using Tesla one, does it show your Tesla account details correct? Also, try renaming your “Home” for the wall connector and then logout/log in to the regular Tesla app. Maybe even removing it and re-installing it may help. Try those items and report back.

This is not a huge issue, but I thought I would mention it. I have an automation to set the reserve level to 100% once the charge level reached 100%. I’m not sure why, but it looks like it ran twice today. I suspect that maybe the PW hit 100% then dipped to 99.99% and then went back to...

So far reserve setting for VPP has not been modified by the automations. I'll report back if I see this happen again, but it may have been just tracking to the set reserve until the VPP reserve was set independently.

I did. However I've changed it back to 10% and will report back tomorrow after automations to see if they are affected again.

@offandonagain - Quick question about automations and reserve settings. It appears that currently when NetZero modifies the reserve setting, it is also affecting the VPP reserve setting. Can that be disabled, or made a separate option?

Wow. That really sucks. I’ve seen some windshield covers (like PPF) that can really help. In the end depends on Insurance and how much you want to pay. I have a $100 comprehensive deductible and that is said and done.

Yes, I saw that too. It was a server issue (as reported in the Tesla App). It lasted 10 minutes or less.

Had same false triggers for Vehicle Charging. Those at 3:01 and 3:02 were phantom charging triggers. Anything I can do to help diagnose?

It may not be that easy. You will need to commission the gateway before it will start charging the battery. It needs to talk to Tesla's servers for that.

Separately, this afternoon I noticed that the app (running on Windows 11) is extremely slow to click around and sluggish to update. Resource consumption seems high or what it does.

Last night I set up automations to take action when a vehicle starts charging, and another action when it stops charging. Apparently it triggered the "Car stopped charging" automation erroneously in the middle of my charge. Is there anything I can do to ensure this doesn't happen? I'm not...

Also on 7.1.2 -- Mine shows them as stacked (just for the Grid and Battery usage). I think the "flat" view is cleaner and doesn't show the "Grid" or "Battery" icon twice.

I was just thinking the same thing. Maybe instead of "Cancel" make the buttons "Keep" or "Restore" to roll back the automation. Just a thought.

Yeah, these are usually just data issues, but the system is working as designed during these "hiccups". Eventually it returns to normal. I’m a new owner, but this is what I have observed to date.

Be glad you got the new decals. I tried to time my purchase and they processed within 2 weeks. Ended up with the blue decals at that time. Sucks in so many ways.

This is true. I ended up with some miscommunication and stickers in transit and ended up with two sets (the first were presumed lost). Only one set was actually valid. Worked out as I had backups for when my parked car had some bumper damage and needed a repaint. PS. Don’t sell them.
