Yep at the service center, funny enough I’m also located less than 5 miles from mine. My advisor called and asked if I wanted to take advantage of the at home delivery, but I declined and said I’d prefer the service center and he confirmed it wouldn’t be an issue.

I went with USAA and it ends up saving me a little over 500 for the life of the loan I think

I was able to get 72 months @ 2.49, but I am also banking/insured with them so I also value the convenience of having everything under 1 vendor. Edit: with automatic payments enabled, it actually drops my rate down to 2.24 (save 0.25% by having automatic payments).

Texas buyers must also pay for the car in full before they schedule a delivery date as Tesla does not have a license to sell directly in Texas which is also why there is a $1250 delivery fee on top of all other fees and taxes.

For anyone going through USAA, the process was quite painless and more straight forward that I had anticipated. I had expected at least a couple of bumps.

VIN was in portal on 4/20 (nice), and I never received a delivery date text until my advisor called me that same afternoon and I was able to ask him to move my delivery date up as I was going to be out of town during the projected range of 5/3 - 5/5

Seems location plays a factor as well...Texas VINs have seem to have been dry lately.

The RPM set is good, as you get both a front and rear (Tesla only provides rear...no OEM fronts as of yet).

It can happen, but its all subject to change until you have the option to choose a pickup with that 3 day delivery window. In other news, my delivery got moved up again to April 26 - May 13 (was May 13 - June 2 as of yesterday).
