My car is paid for, ready to go, I'm just waiting for Tesla to find a carrier for home delivery which is extra painful lol
I've thought about flying and driving back, but I don't think I would actually save money versus the delivery cost, and any day I'm not dealing with airports and cabs is a...
Selling 2019 Tesla Model S Performance w/ Ludicrous Mode and Full Self Driving. Car is ceramic coated, has BBS wheels (no rash), chrome delete (vinyl wrap on chrome trim), tires with good tread life, and no issues. 40,500 miles.
Pictures available at my eBay listing: 2019 Tesla Model S...
This will be my 7th (I think) Tesla auto purchase and I also have Tesla Solar & Powerwall at my house. Customer service in general has gotten worse and worse with time. I clearly like the products and want to support Tesla, but I also have a right to comment on the increasingly awful purchasing...
I'm not entirely sure what relevance that has. I don't care about the writer of the article buying a Polestar or being a hypocrite or being critical of Tesla, I care about his current experience matching many people in the comments' current experiences and my own current experience; we have...

Anecdotally, still no correspondence from Tesla after my S order. Just sitting there with financing approved waiting to learn more. Very strange.
Strange after ordering the demo S noted on the last page, it's radio silence from Tesla. I have every task completed including financing approved but haven't received any messages since purchasing. Wonder if it's related to layoffs.
ordered a red/white 19” LR today. I have played chicken three times so far and each time the $250 cancel fee was worth it due to subsequent price drops, but I’m not convinced we’re going to see another (significant) S price drop anytime soon. Hopefully cars built now with all this chaos going on...
Get wheels that make you happy. Unless you are routinely driving 350+ miles at a time and need to maximize every bit of performance (which applies to 0.01% of people), I don't see the point in worrying about decreased efficiency from non-OEM wheel caps.
After yesterday’s subpar delivery news I checked out used Model S pricing on Tesla’s website to see if they were going to try to move some of their preowned inventory… wtf are their used prices? Pretty sure I saw used cars with prices above or near new!
Released my VIN and put order on hold. Rolling the dice to get the new (phantom) changes. If not I'll join the $250 club, I kinda want a Plaid anyway :)
They're pretty good. I've had four Teslas delivered from NJ and its been fine each time, but I'm not nearly as anal about stuff as some people here. If the car looks good, doesn't squeak, and there are no crazy gaps, I'm good to go *shrug*
As an update, I got my VIN for my red Model S LR, white interior, wheel, 19" almost immediately after ordering (2024 VIN) and just now Tesla has reached out to me to discuss delivery options. I'm not sure if I'm on some sort of fast track but I'll keep people posted. Maybe the EPA stuff is lifting.
That’s strange. It’s definitely a ‘24 vin and delivery is listed as soon as a week from now. Red paint, white interior, 19” wheels and regular steering wheel for what it’s worth
I ordered a new model s a few minutes ago and after verifying my identity there’s a VIN assigned under “Vehicle Details”. I have not followed this thread closely so not sure if that’s typical or not but I’m surprised at the speed…
I have a Model S Performance with Ludicrous Mode, and I am now purchasing a Model S Long Range if that provides any clarity. If money is no object, sure, but you'll find the real world use of Plaid speed is very limited.
For what it's worth my September MS LR order just changed from Est Delivery: Sep - Oct to Oct - Nov. Maybe the price drops are starting to cause a bit of a backlog.
I'd like to think there's some method to the madness, but this is my third Tesla order and I'm not convinced delivery timeframes are anything more than dumb luck...
I ordered last week and my profile was just updated to expect a January delivery. I know that doesn't mean anything but I'm still surprised. I was expecting April or May next year.
Placed an order a few days ago for a red LR. Website estimated March - April when ordered and now shows April - May. Have absolutely no clue when to expect delivery but not going to stress about it. A friend ordered a LR in July and took delivery last week. Not sure how that happened, maybe a...
My fiance ordered an M3 in white on white (LR, 18" wheels) and it's radio silence for her. I honestly don't know why mine came so quickly. In my Tesla account, until I was notified I needed to make final payment the delivery date didn't even have a range, the field was just blank. All of a...
