I think it’s been covered (at least on this forum) a service call to tesla to get a retrofit is possible. Once fitted, it can’t be switched on/off however. Around $350ish from memory?!

Are you getting this issue at home as well? Mrs Leeroys’s 3 has sentry constantly on at home. The address in the account and the car match and the car recognizes it’s at that location, however sentry continually flashes as I walk into the garage. Yes, ‘exclude home’ is ticked.

A number of my work colleagues with both model 3/Y were getting the window drop issue after selecting climate on. We were all on the same software but it didn’t affect everyone. Seemed to have sorted out a few updates ago for us.

That seems to have started a few updates ago. It’s annoying, but doesn’t seem to affect anything other than the visuals.

Interesting. I had the same numbers range wise both new and when I sold it 2 months ago from an April 2021 M3 but with more than double the kms at 90000. Definitely seems to point to calendar degradation rather than use!

Anyone else had the windows venting without asking? My Y, the Mrs 3 and another friends Y have all had the windows venting after switching on the climate. Haven’t gone into the interior page to turn that on either, just the main screen.

Have a look for reviews of the Hansshow frunk kit and make your own assessment. They’ve left plenty of people high and dry with wrong part, zero support during install or any after support. I’m sure there’s a few that have been fine, but the consensus is AVOID.

I’m had a similar issue if the frunk was left open for 10 mins or so. Seems to loose power when the frunk pushbutton does also. I locked and unlocked the car and it all came back to life.

How about the opening?

Anyone had any drama with the power frunk opening in the new kits? I’ve recently installed a kit in both a 3 and a Y (different ECU versions) and they both seem to really ‘spring’ open, then slow right down to the speed selected. Closing is completely fine. My 2021 kit has been flawless.

Out of interest, does it open ok? I fitted one to a 3 last week and a friends Y today and they both really spring open, then slow rapidly to complete the opening cycle. The 3 kit was a few months old and the Y kit has the new style of ECU with a different button.

If you don’t have the app I don’t think it matters whether the speaker is there or not, as there’s no way to unlock it sadly. 😡

It’s a big carpark, with plenty of spaces usually even if you are towing. I often park there with a trailer. Someone is just being an a$$ for the sake of it.

Yep, boombox is there! It also does make noise going forward, it’s just a different noise that isn’t as obvious or loud (to me) 😂👌 Actually pretty cool, I like being able to play music outside the car.

Do you have EAP doggy? I got PB with a vengeance during the Christmas trial, but has not done it since the EAP trial was removed. So convinced I am, I’m seriously considering removing EAP on the Y I ordered.
