That's when it's not connected. If you open the app it takes a few extra seconds to connect. To test this I activated the widget on my girlfriends phone and when I'm connected she's not and vice versa. This is how I came to the conclusion.

I believe I've figured it out. When it's bright it means your phone key is connected to the car and when it's dim you're not.

That is exactly what my widget looks like. Service responded and said it's a fob with low battery. Thing is I don't have a fob. Maybe service used one to get in and didn't unpair it?

I've recently had my hv battery replaced. I first noticed a battery icon with a key in it on my Android widget. Anyone know what this means? I've messaged Tesla and I'm waiting on a response. Sent it before business hours.
