My SA just wrote, in response to my question about a June delivery (12 month for order): “It is still a place holder for now, but we surely are getting close. Yes, we have been seeing about a 12-14 month wait for the Model X's we have been delivering recently. Really appreciate your patience...

Starting to feel if you don't have a date range, the March delivery date is garbage. If you don't have a range now and if you ordered a LR, expect delivery at least by 1 year from original order date.

Same here. I've had 7 BMWs and never has one single delivery issue. So I am really nervous about Tesla's delivery...But there are many who have no problems. Kinda glad I am not getting one now with the YE rush likely causing sloppiness.

So you secured funding (a pre-approval) before you have a VIN? sorry might be a dumb question, but I haven't worried about funding approval since I have just applied for it the day of lease signing...for the last 20 year.
