Clicking Sound When Making Sharp Turns at Low Speeds

Happened to my 2023 MSLR, pretty common issue for the S, Tesla had to re-lubricate and re-tighten some bits and pieces. Never had any more issues until I sold it at 23500km when trading in for MXP. Hope it’s same easy fix for you.

LTE connectivity gone after latest software update?

Thank you guys. I am running the connection via my personal hotspot now. Hopefully Tesla figures out this with Rogers soon. I bet it has something to do with the recent Roger/Shaw merge.

LTE connectivity gone after latest software update?

Region: Vancouver, BC 2023 Model S LR Has anybody experienced losing LTE connectivity (only 3G now) after the latest software update (2023.12.8). Over the weekend I started noticing there’s little to no LTE connection. Today, only showing 3G or No connection. Wondering if anyone having the...

    2013 Model S a money pit

In general, Japanese cars tend to be more problem-less if you are lucky. I don’t keep my cars after warranty expires because any small issue would usually cost more than we expected. Last year my friend’s 2015 Porsche Macan with 60000km had a faulty transmission and the repair was $28000 plus...

Gap in light pattern of the matrix headlight

My 3 week old 2023 S has spent 5 days in the service shop since I took delivery. Clicking suspension noise, cracked wiper, non-waking up screen, non-opening charge door, non-working Climate Control system. The wiper had started making a strange noise again yesterday. Not sure what’s next, but, I...

Gap in light pattern of the matrix headlight

I have this on both my MYP and S. I guess that’s how TELSA designed their lights. Probably can be tweaked by software if they ever willing to. I just hope Tesla s version of matrix lights really do function like what a matrix headlight should. At this point, they do not work or perform anywhere...

20” Cyberstream Wheels on Model S

Thanks again! I’ve been checking the MountainPass Performance website, I think eventually that’s the route I will head to for upgrading the suspension and brakes. I am considering T sportline 21” forged wheel/tire package which is same width as the oem 21”. At the same time, I’ll find out...

20” Cyberstream Wheels on Model S

Thank you for explanation. I wish to give the S a sportier driving character. I under it’s a big and heavy luxury cruiser, however, I also wish making small changes like upgrading wheel/tires and a rear sway bar can at least give it some improvement. In the case if I want to enhance the handling...

20” Cyberstream Wheels on Model S

My 2023 S comes with 19” all season and I am debating whether if I should go 21” staggered just like OEM fitment or 20” with 20x10 (285/35/20) all around. Can anyone share what are the pros & Cons of those selections?

Are we now seeing the true value of Tesla’s ? Read:

Tesla does not buy your used cars, they reached out to resellers/dealers for quotes. Your trade-in values reflect to the current wholesale price minus the whatever profits Tesla (the department that handles/manages trade-in program) wants to make in between.

Clicking noise while turning the yoke - 2022 Model S

service department fixed it by adjusting and re-lubricate the underbody frame bolts as they told me. It’s been okay since 4:30pm yesterday. No more clicking noise for now. However, strangely my displays in the car failed to wake up twice today. 2nd time I did the reboot and so far looks alright...

The price on tesla in us is not even close to reasonable now

so, we all moving to China tomorrow? That might be easier to achieve than hoping TELSA reducing their price by 60%, I guess?

Upgrade from Model Y to Model S Worth IT?

We have a 21 model Y performance with 34000km and just picked up a 23 Model S, they are very different types of cars. The MYP is fun and very playful while the S is a sophisticated (apart from the low speed steering noise and wiper noise which will be looked by Tesla on Tuesday) and comfortable...

Looking to possibly buy a 21/22 Model S. Worried there are so many being sold with low miles

Thank you. I’ll try to find one for test drive. The supply is pretty low here in my area (only a few used around) and dealers mostly don’t allow test drive because of the reason not wanting to add mileage to their cars which I understand just a bunch of BS. I’ve also got in contact with a local...

Looking to possibly buy a 21/22 Model S. Worried there are so many being sold with low miles

Hi, I am curious about how do you compare the driving experience (handling, braking, and other aspects) between your 971 Panamera and the refreshed Model S. Recently I have the thought about buying a 2022/0233 Panamera GTS, I test-drove the GTS and I loved it very much. It handles very well for...

    Model Y Performance range question

At 90% charge (430km), I get 380km with summer tires/wheels (21”), and 340km with winters (19” and aftermarket wheels). My daily usage is 60%hwy 40%city and I go 15% to 20% over speed limits. If at speed limits, I get fairly close to the estimated distance showing on the screen.

19” Michelin Pilot Alpin 4 installed. (2021 MYP)

See if you can find Pirelli P-Zero winter, I have those on my 992 and they have very noticeable improvements over the Sottozeros which I’ve been using since 2008.

19” Michelin Pilot Alpin 4 installed. (2021 MYP)

Good evening folks, Just got the winter wheels/tires installed this morning. I’ve got Fast Wheel FC04 with Michelin Pilot Alpin 4 255/45/19 all around for my winter setup. Psi at 44 now, probably will lower it by 2 later tonight. It’s noticeable noisier than the stock 21 inch with Pirelli...

Model Y Performance Totally Impractical for Snowy Climates?

You can drive your family and yourself safely with a proper set of tires for the condition you have to face. The MYP has Staggered tire setting but your winter set doesn’t need to be staggered. In fact, Tesla recommends 19 inch wheel with 245/55/19 all around for winter tire size. You can easily...

Model Y autopilot (basic) not working?

Hi folks, I just picked my model y performance yesterday afternoon and the autopilot (basic) didn’t seem to work. I get no grey/blue steering wheel icon on my screen. I proceeded to perform a camera calibration (after driving 50km) and it hasn’t worked either so far. I have just over 100km of...

    Winter wheel choice

I’ll be buying Michelin PA4 255/45/R19 for my MYP winter usage. I know the Tesla 19 inch winter set is 19x9.5 et45. However, I am wondering if wheels in 19x9 et35 (a style I much prefer) work. Any thoughts guys?
