FYI, as a follow up, even after I took delivery of the inventory car I had emailed before pickup to [email protected] to get them to add a referral code to my inventory order, and they did, 1000 supercharger miles, but they do expire in March 2022... so better get to driving! Good thing...

I'll probably do a PPF on the side panels once it comes back in stock I have do it yourself ceramic spray to use, not as long lasting as a true ceramic, but something I'll wind up doing (when its not raining out)

I scheduled for 9/17 and they moved me up to 9/15 just today. So yeah it’s possible, but they will ask first

yeah things moved pretty quick. Apparently they are expecting a lot of deliveries on Friday and were like we need to move you up if possible

So Tesla Delivery Center called me after I called them, and says, we need to change your delivery window.... so long story short.... Time is now tomorrow afternoon.... moved up from Friday.

So I called the delivery center, which actually I think it went to some other person, because he didn't seem to be at the delivery center. But he confirmed my pickup on Friday. And said the car arrived at the delivery center and was going through the checks, and no issues that he could see...

My SA was unresponsive so someone on the forums posted up to email: [email protected] I emailed them on Thursday last week, and I got an auto response saying they would get back to me in 3 business days, so I believe it would be either today or tomorrow I should hear back about them...

I'd hang onto it until you have the car in hand. Thats what I'm doing with my order vs my inventory order, should be picking up the inventory order in about 1 week, but just in case I'm hanging onto my other order, if I take delivery and its all good, I'll cancel it.

When they installed it, they did a test and showed me it was pulling 40amp at the plug, and electrical is something I won't touch myself, so I'm not as savvy with it as other things, so I'm trusting the electrician on this

Not sure? This is what they installed: *Dedicated QO circuit 40a - 240v up to 50'. *With NEMA 14/50r, flush mounted outlet. But I also had them install whole home surge protection as well, as new build here in GA requires it.

I paid about $700 for a nema 14-50, so yeah that seems reasonable to me. Though They only ran 40 amp as the mobile connector (what I'll be using is rated to use 32amp), so going 40 amp was a bit cheaper than going at the higher 50 amp.

Haven't seen any mach-e's in my neighborhood. There is about 2-3 Nissan leafs and about 4-5 Teslas from what I can see.

I received something similar last week, except I got that text message after I selected a delivery appointment, and had to call and they couldn't figure out why I got that text.

So it just dawned on me that my original order I used a friend's referral code, and on the inventory in the frantic pace to purchase I didn't use it, so sent an email to my SA to see if they could add it.
