Crazy isn't it?, and to think just 3 days ago I was feeling pretty despondent after the month we've had and thinking it could go either way after earnings and we might even end up back closer to $100!

I know exactly what you mean, looking at my holding value now compared to it's value at ATH a couple of years ago, I could get quite upset if I was that way inclined.🤣

Same here and been so since January 2012. My buy in then was somewhere under $2 split adjusted, I can't be bothered to calculate the % increase to date. I'm actually down millions from the all time high a couple of years back, but meh... Thankfully I'm too dumb to try timing markets or else...

If you really can't handle much volatility, your investing behaviour certainly doesn't seem to match your risk profile at all! I wish you well with it anyway. I'm far too dumb and don't have the stress tolerance to do anything other than buy and hold, lol! Been all in since January 2012, so...

Man, You really don't seem to be getting this. Now is the time to buy more. I bought some last week at $185, and I'll admit, some more the week before at $220! Bet you think I'm a fool eh? ;) Well in my opinion that was a good price as well and I really don't care what happens over the next few...

As a "Brit" there is no Tesla model to suit me anymore, it's a shame. Doesn't look like we are ever going to get the Roadster in RHD form, which is what I'd really want, or the current S as a RHD either. This is really annoying! I'm just not into the other "everyman" family 3/Y models either, so...

I'm not surprised, most here in the UK now can barely afford to pay Mortgages & Rents. They can often not afford to fund any sort of retirement provision either, so new cars are pretty far down the list! I get depressed thinking about the current younger generations, how awful life has got for...

I know long term we're just going to do great and as a very long term hodler, this doesn't phase me much anymore, but damn, sometimes I wonder if I should just sell up everything 2 days before each earnings day to rebuy the day after, I'd have made another fortune by now! (Until the first time I...

It's easy to understand. It's the age old 20/80 rule. You can use it with almost everything in life and it works here very well also. 80% of people are pretty stupid, I know I'll get lots of disagrees for this, but it's just a fact. So it's not too difficult to manipulate a lot of this 80% to...

I used to think the same as you, but was surprised to discover recently that chromed plastic parts are still actually real chrome as used on metal parts, prepared plastics are dipped and have the chrome surface applied in a similar way to metals. So they are still just as bad from an...

Ditch them? I really hope not, the 3&Y are just horrible looking, everyman cars. Of course as a shareholder I'm pleased about thier success and long may it continue and expand, but I certainly don't want to have to drive around in one of them!

That one's an oldie. If I remember correctly it was done at 70mph with the bed fully loaded as well. The old cab forward VW Bus format may not be the safest, but even in a Cybertruck, I very much doubt you'd be getting out alive after hitting solid concrete at 70mph! What time tomorrow are we...

Excellent work. I did a similar job on mine, although it wasn't as badly aligned as yours to begin with. I think people misunderstand the difference between quality and a "premium, opulent, feel", especially with regard to interiors. Many German cars have a very premium feeling cabin compared with the more Spartan Tesla interiors. This doesn't mean the quality is better, but it is what many...

As a work vehicle, pick up trucks are a terrible compromise. In 95% of use cases a panel van is a far more useful and appropriate vehicle for the job. US culture has ensured thier ongoing appeal, the rest of the world figured out the panel van thing a long time ago. ;) The few pick ups we do...

Unless they make a separate version with a thin, soft front end, I don't see how it can pass EU pedestrian safety. US pick up trucks comply with heavy truck standards rather than passenger car standards as in the EU, That's my understanding anyway, happy to be corrected by anyone who knows better.

The MG4 is a nice runabout. We looked at one. Reports so far are it's real world range is nothing like what's quoted, so it'll get nowhere close to your Tesla. It drives OK, but doesn't compare in any way to driving a Tesla, you'll notice a massive come down from a 3. It has a p**s poor...

If we do cross 100, (and our intestines are in agreement!) Wiki North America Touches Car Wash Options

Excuse my ignorance, but how on earth does a touchless car wash work, especially on particularly dirty cars? I personally just old school wash mine, 2 bucket method following a thorough rinsing with pressure washer to remove all grit and heavy dirt. Finish with a towel dry.
