    Looking for MCU1 repair service

Hello, I'm wondering if anyone can suggest a place where MCU1 units can be repaired. I recently replaced the battery at a third-party Tesla shop, but my MCU failed unexpectedly. I'm aware that Tesla has a recall open for EMMC repairs, but I am not considering this option because my Tesla is...

Main battery voltage too low, will not charge

The main contactor will not close if the 12v battery is low. Replacing the 12v battery is a good start, after that just plug it in and wait, it might take anywhere between 4 to 6 hrs for the HV pack to start getting any charge.

    2012 Model S Signature Cars

What's the code of the error? If it's for the HV pack, then It is not going to be an easy fix, you would have to drop the battery since older versions have a fuse box at the top right next to the Battery penthouse.

2015 P90D Model S Dying Unable To Drive Out of Power With 4% (8 miles) Charge Remaining

I'm not an expert but would like to share with you my experience. I had the same issue with my Tesla. It all started like this, the imbalance was causing the battery to die on me with 10 miles left on the dash, it was getting worse and in three months I got the BMS029 error. Tesla probably won't...

How do I access my 2012 Model S

Short follow-up on my issue. Had to perform a "surgery" as per instructions seenon one of the Rich Rebuilts Utube videos. Had to drill the hole and use the telescopic camera to be able to hook up the secondary latch from inside the frunk compartment. All in all, appr. 45 min. operation.

How do I access my 2012 Model S

The exposed terminals are not working. To be exact, the positive (red one) is not working.

How do I access my 2012 Model S

That's the problem, the exposed positive terminal is not connected to the battery circuit, and they probably missed connecting it while assembling the front of the car. Trying to find a solution for how to manually open the frunk.

What should I do - 2012 Signature Red Model S

I experienced exactly the same situation. Tesla-certified body shop kept my car for 4 months often forgetting to plug it in at a very low state of the HV pack, eventually while still sitting there received the BMS u029 error. Of course, they deny any liability for their actions. I got my car...

Hi, I'm impressed wth an update you've done to your Tesla. I currently own a RWD Model S and am on the market for a 90kwh battery. Was wondering if I can potentially procure a battery from the Dual motor Tesla or it has to be RWD just like mine is?

2012 Model S P85 HV pack replacement, RWD VS AWD(dual motor) battery pack

My battery pack just recently failed due to a big imbalance in the pack of over 200 mv. I'm looking for a used pack and was wondering should I consider HV packs from dual-motor Teslas MS MX? I was told a battery pack from dual motor vehicle has a slightly different lineup of bolts at the front...
