easyev said - You Y owners are a lively bunch, wow, thanks for all the replies and keep ‘em coming! Order the MYLR and cheque with your accountant about what RevCan offers. While you're waiting to have your TWC installed (if applicable), spend some time talking to owners at Sherway Gardens SC...

20000 new Tesla chargers at Hilton

In May of last year I stayed at a Hilton Garden Suites and to my surprise they had 2 L2 Tesla Wall Connectors available! Woo Hoo! That was a game changer. To be clear, there were a couple of SC's minutes away, but it was like they (Hilton) were saying "we're on board and we see the future like...

2022 Model Y One Year Review

We have had our MYLR for 15 months. During that time there have been seven 800-mile road trips along with our everyday local usage. Two trips to Knoxville SC for adjustments (under warranty). We now have 20 thousand plus miles on the vehicle. We had a Tesla Wall Connector installed in the...

First Road Trip In 2023 Tesla Model Y

Switched from miles to percentage. Any hint of range anxiety gone. We were able to install a TWC four months before the car arrived and got the tax credit. Keep the car at 50% SOC at home. Four long distance road trips this year. Never an issue with SC's. Met some really nice peeps - had...

    October 2021 Order Delivery Dates

Sounds like a "Saskatche-win!" You are gonna love it; especially one-pedal driving. There are a couple of things that you'll have to remember if you occasionally drive an ICE car - one of them is to turn the engine OFF - lol.

First impressions and new MYLR road trip

We also came from a '17 Subaru Outback Limited - a nice vehicle and a choice that has served us well. Our '22 MYLR is probably as close as we will get to space travel (save interplanetary adventures between my ears). We are lucky to be part of a small but exponentially growing group that will...

MYLR vs Subaru Outback: Outback better AP and reliability?

We have a '22 MY LR and a '17 Outback Limited. I agree with your summation: They’re both good cars, but have different strengths and weaknesses. Here in WNC Subies are everywhere for a reason. We have decided to keep ours. On a 1700-mile trip last month I experienced Tesla AP's "unique" handling...

Can Tesla mobile service fix this panel gap?

Update: Had the same gap issues as above and booked a service app't in Knoxville. They got me in on time and a couple of hours later got the text that they were done, same time as my shopping. No more issues about my issues. Do Dah! Thanks to SA Craig and the techs in the relatively "knew...

    DIY Paint protection film

Did my own with a front kit from Drive Protected. What Rivets, Mulkogi and Poprex say. There are a few tough areas that I am not 100% happy with, but you really have to look to find them. Worth the money and time IMO.

Picture of your Model Y - Right Now!

A 7-month gestation period. Long-range "Sauvignon Blanc." Tesla Wall Connector installed December '21. Easy-peasy pick-up in Matthews (thank you Whitney). Front end PPF from Drive Protected and the usual array of aftermarket goodies. Two minor fit issues with the rear liftgate and rear taillight...

    October 2021 Order Delivery Dates

Just noticed that my EDD went from March to late April/May. 1st time it has moved since ordering late October. I am assuming that that should answer any oft-asked questions regarding build location and battery pack et al and will greatly decrease the visits to my account for a while. We shall...
