No they are 20” wheels with Michelin Pilot A/S 4 tires. If you look above my initial response was to the poster with 20” wheels that have the inner tire wear issue and I just said that I found it interesting since I didn’t have that issue and thought maybe it was the tires.

I have a 2022 Plaid as I mentioned in my post above. In my car you can set the ride to low at all times which I have done. Here are some pics of my tires when I had them replaced at 30k miles.

I don’t have any specs but I haven’t touched the alignment from the factory and I’m on my second set of tires and at 50k miles now the first set lasted a little over 30k miles and the second set will last that long as well. All I know is I don’t have any issues like everyone else.

Interesting, I have 20x11 in the rears on my Plaid with Michelin Pilot A/S-4 and got 30k out of them and they wore evenly and I’ve done no suspension work and drive 100% on low.

I have 20” BC forged wheels on it.

My range isn’t much better than a Taycan. I do have sentry on but I only get about 250 miles max in my Plaid real world driving 70 mph.

No doubt the good stories outnumber the bad ones but I’ve never seen any forum with as many bad deliveries as this one and it’s not even close so there’s that. My Plaid had several defects that no manufacturer would ever allow through quality control.

I was at the Mercedes dealer a couple weeks ago test driving some SUVs and the paint of the cars in the showroom was terrible. The orange peel was the worst I’ve seen on a car and I’ve owned a Dodge before. Throttle House did a review of the SL63 and commented on how bad the paint is.

I would have been happy with $40k quality. My car was a mess and it had nothing to do with panel gaps which I didn’t care about. I’ve owned many brand new cars of all different makes and none have been as bad as my Plaid. Still love the car but its been bad.

This I agree with. I understand wanting to improve the car and not waiting for models years like traditional car manufacturers but at least when traditional manufacturers make changes they are typically well sorted out and work. With Tesla they make changes but then they aren’t fully baked...

Same thing happened to me so I had to pay for another side camera.

In two years I’ve never come close to the EPA range on my Plaid, not even really close even on trips where I’m not stopping and starting a lot. There was an article the other day on real world range vs EPA and the Tesla they tested wasn’t close. The BMWs tested were nearly spot on.

Did you read the last post in that thread? The updated yoke is still not available. I got a new one a couple months ago and the part number is the same.

Finally had the gloss PPF applied to my carbon fiber trim. To me it looks much better and has more depth than matte but of course it’s all personal preference.

I agree, I would have them do paintless dent removal and just touch up the chip unless it is a big chip. I personally don’t love repaints on a new car.

That part number for the steering wheel may be the older model. I have the same part number for the yoke that was replaced last month.

I ordered my car with the 19” wheels because I knew I was getting 20” wheels when I bought the car. I only had the 19” wheels for a month so I can’t tell you what the wear was like on those wheels.

Because the manufacturer didn’t set the price and with Tesla there is no negotiation. Many were able to get the lightning for MSRP.

But it wasn’t universal across the board and many were able to get them for MSRP. Apples and oranges when the manufacturer does it so no, not the same at all. Show me where a manufacturer dropped MSRP $40k anywhere.

I did sell my car about 6 months prior to the lease end date for a $5k premium. No car I know of in the price range I looked at had a $40k markup and the M5 I was considering ordering was MSRP. $5k and $40k are vastly different.

Looks really nice and the look I am going for. For me I just need to put gloss PPF on my trim. Hopefully it turns out ok.

I have a GTR as well and a X7 M50i. One thing I need to get done is put gloss PPF on the carbon fiber trim of my Plaid. I personally like the gloss carbon fiber interior trim better but just need to find time to get it done.

I really like the style of those wheels and the color. I have BCForged wheels in a brushed finish and feel the detail of these wheels are better and the brushed finish is nicer. My Vossen forged brushed finish is similar to yours and look higher quality.
