Foam cannon/gun for "regular" garden hose?

I see, so the EQP44 needs an additional attachment (pressure washer)? Or is it more involved and upgrades to plumbing would be needed, etc.? The Foam Blaster 6 is about half the price, but you mentioned that both work well? Would you say that the EQP324 is a lot better?

Foam cannon/gun for "regular" garden hose?

Thanks everyone for your replies. How about this one... Chemical Guys EQP324 Would that work on a regular garden hose?

Foam cannon/gun for "regular" garden hose?

Hi. I'm thinking about getting a foam cannon or gun that I would connect to my regular garden hose. I don't have a pressure washer or anything like that. Is there a decent foam cannon/gun that I can get that would attach to my garden hose or would I also be needing a pressure washer? Thanks.

I understand. Will give shoe polish a try. Thanks.

    Damage to leather while cleaning

Someone (no me) rubbed the inside of the door area (see pic) when cleaning something off of it. I don't think the white marks are a stain, but rather the excessive rubbing, peeled away the black. Has anyone ever experienced this and might be able to recommend a remedy? Possibly a polish or...

    Normal mileage for a tire?

I have about 15,400 miles on all four original tires. Our 2023 MYLR is about one year old (purchased on 12/31/23). The tires have not been rotated yet. I need to purchase one tire because the plug on the passenger rear tire has a slow leak. It was recommended that I purchase two because I was...

Small paint chip repair recommendation needed

Isnt' it always best to get OEM? Especially for paint? Does Dr. Colorchip match as well? What would make it better than the Tesla repair kit?

Small paint chip repair recommendation needed

Thanks for your reply. I will try doing the touchup. I'm not looking to do a flawless job, but my main goal is to make sure the area is free from the possibility of rust forming. I also am not eager to pay $800. If you were in my shoes, you would do the touchup yourself? How can I go about...

Small paint chip repair recommendation needed

We got a small paint chip on the hatch of our Model Y. (We opened it in a garage with a low roof). Caught it in time before major damage, but I'm attaching two pics of a small paint chip that occurred. I contacted an authorized Tesla body shop where we had some work done previously for a quote...

Best way to charge to prevent battery degradation?

Pretty sure I can. From 95% I drove 250 miles and had 20% left. Range is pretty good I’d say.

Air compressor/tire inflation question and recommendation...

Thanks for your reply and recommendations. If a non-decimal gauge displayed "41", that could mean anywhere from 41.0-41.9, right? How would that cross over into the 40 or 42 range?

Air compressor/tire inflation question and recommendation...

Thanks again. Do you have a link you can share for the Sears Craftsman 120V inflator? That's the one you use at home and would need to be plugged in? Do you keep the Ryobi handheld one in your Tesla?

    Lost Keys Cards

If we do lose a keycard, is there a way to deactivate an older one? Should I be worried about that keycard "being out there" and able to run our car?

Air compressor/tire inflation question and recommendation...

Thanks very much for your replies. What model would you recommend for one to have at home that I would plug in to an outlet? I basically don’t want to have to worry about going to a gas station/Costco for air .

Air compressor/tire inflation question and recommendation...

I would drive and pay for air. But my other cars has spares so I wasn’t as concerned. I always has thought about it too but never got around to getting one

Air compressor/tire inflation question and recommendation...

Hi, I've noticed that the tire pressure on all four of my tires are low (37). I also remember that I have to pay for air at most stations in my area. So, I'd like to purchase an air compressor. Should I look for one that I can keep in my model Y at all times or should I focus on one that I can...

    Tinting in Maryland

I'm going to a place called All American Paint Protection in Maryland today. They use Xpel Prime XR Plus. I'm thinking about doing 15% on the four windows and hatch and 45% on the windshield (possibly 55%). My main concern is getting ticketed. I just received a ticket for no front plate...

    Tinting in Maryland

I've been researching this more and it seems that the best product to go with is Xpel Prime XR plus. I'm thinking of doing 20% on the fronts and 50%-60% on the windshield. I really need to cool the cabin down as best I can. Not sure why it's so hot, probably because of the black interior?

Cloths to wipe down interior and exterior

Thank you all for your replies. I've purchased a microfiber glove from Amazon and some microfiber rags from the Rag Company. For washing these items, is it ok to run through the wash with other clothes and then hang dry them or better to wash separately?

    Tinting in Maryland

So, I went to one shop that I researched and had good reviews for tinting and they only use SunTek. It seems that SunTek is a "mid-range" product? After researching a little bit, it seems that XPel or 3M would be the best in ceramic? Should I find a place that would do one of those two products...

    Tinting in Maryland

Hi. Not sure what you mean. What is the AS-1 line? From what I'm reading in other posts and Google searches, it seems that the 2023 MYLR would roughly have 20% tint on the rear windows and 24% on the back hatch. It appears to be recommended to tint the front windshield anywhere from 55%-70%...

Model Y Basic Car Wash Advice Needed

Hi, I am in need of some basic car wash advice. I think I have always been doing things a bit wrong and would like to properly wash our Model Y. On previous cars I've just basically been putting some Turtle Wax in a bucket and mixing that with water and using older undershirts (rags) to apply...

    Tinting in Maryland

Thanks for your reply. I see. So the back two windows on the Model Y come with a factory tint of approximately 20%? In your opinion, do you think 20% would be too dark? I'm mainly concerned about night time, looking out the side mirrors, etc? Also, since the legal limit in Maryland is 35%...

    Tinting in Maryland

I purchased our Model Y LR in January this year. I'm looking to get the front driver and passenger windows tinted as well as possible the windshield. What percentage are the back windows tinted on the Model Y? Does it vary by state? I was reading in some other posts that it is 20 percent. My...

MagBak wireless charger...a couple of questions

I might go for the Magbak, but then I'd have to get new cases for our phones and I don't mind charging with the cable. I might actually prefer that. So, I've also been trying to find this one by Temai (pic attached). However, whenever I follow a link to it, it brings me to a Temai wireless...

MagBak wireless charger...a couple of questions

Hi Everyone, In my search for a holder/charger for my iPhone 12, I might have settled on the MagBak for my Model Y (2023). I do have a couple of questions... I was hesitant to purchase a holder that had adhesive due to issues I've had with other holder (on other cars) with the adhesive...

    Window tinting.

I'm also thinking of at least getting the front windows tinted to match the rear windows. Is it recommended to have the windshield tinted as well. Do you find that helps a lot with glare? If I do the windshield, it seems that 70% is the recommended amount? Is the rear window also already tinted?

Cool MagSafe iPhone Holder (Behind Steering Wheel)

Are both ends of this magnetic? (I'm actually not even sure if the back of the Tesla screen can hold a magnetic device)... I've been looking for something like this, but holding off, because I find that even a plastic suction cup would eventually turn to glue and mess up the back of the screen.

    Portable car vacuum for cleaning?

I'm sort of torn between corded and cordless. How do you keep the vacuum charged? Do you charge it from the USB-C on the car or bring it in to your home every once in a while? With the corded, I guess you don't have to worry about that, but also have to worry about the cord in the car, etc...

    Portable car vacuum for cleaning?

Why not use a corded vacuum? I see some on Amazon that have long cords that would reach throughout a car.

    I don’t trust Tesla maps

I appreciate your detailed reply. I understand that Tesla navigation will get me to where I want to go, but I still have to say that I am not confident that it will do it well. I should have paid attention when it routed me through I-95 rush hour near Philly and Baltimore. That's on me. But...

    I don’t trust Tesla maps

I’ve been trying to use Tesla maps on trips, but can’t find myself able to trust it. I do find Tesla maps ok for local driving, but for longer trips I’m finding it tough to rely on it to find the best route especially when it comes to identifying traffic and route based on superchargers. I...

Cloths to wipe down interior and exterior

Thanks very much. Any specific brand of microfiber towel you recommend? Is it ok to use the microfiber towel without wetting it with a spray? Would you recommend 303 spray with a microfiber towel? For the exterior, what kind of soap do you use?

Cloths to wipe down interior and exterior

Preconditioning Vs. Climate on: Whats the difference?

Is there a way to not turn on the climate control when I choose to precondition the car prior to a departure? I find myself having to turn off the climate each time I precondition.
