I’m not worried about super chargers by my house. I’m worried about super chargers along the interstates in rural parts of the country for commuting long distances.

Scheduled charging was the culprit even though I never knowingly set it to that due to a flat rate where we live. Thank you!

We plug it in, it charges and then stops at some point. Once I check the app and click start charging it resumes. Any need to worry about this? It started happening about two weeks ago.

Maybe I missed it but has anybody explained how Tesla Vision will adequately replace the USS? Seems impossible unless you live in a place without rain, snow, dirt and mud. Maybe I’m an idiot though?

I would not buy a 2023 Tesla without the USS.

I’d wait for the LR, especially given your climate.

I wouldn’t want a 23 as it won’t have the USS. I believe those cars will be duds or retrofitted at some point.

Unfortunately, I think it’s going to go “all the way”. I truly hope a family member or friend can help him before it’s too late. Ive been down this road with many musicians I like. It’s tough to watch.

Hope you’re correct. I was once proud to show off our Tesla to friends and family but am now just embarrassed to own one. Granted, it’s my wife’s car, but I still drive it at times. Looked at trading it in this weekend but we’d lose $10k. Funny that just three months ago we could’ve made $10k.

This is my biggest concern. Cameras fog up and get dirty, how will they prevent this from happening?

There is some Y inventory locally that I’d be interested in trading up into but not having the USS is a deal breaker for me. Am I wrong for feeling this way? Has Tesla ever gone back and said, j/k, we made a mistake?

There was a red/white available in SLC for a while, might still be there. But it may have been a performance model.

Well, I was going to wait to and see how the stock all seasons on our 22LR did but after seeing that video I’m going to Costco today to get winters put on as it’s my wife’s daily driver.

Good point regarding how they turned off the radar for older cars. Did those vehicles also have USS at the time?

What’s the deal with the USS and waiver? Are those vehicles going to be worth less down the road or is it old technology that will be replaced with better cameras? I am so confused.

I find it interesting they could deem the PCS failed through a quick diagnosis on your car but I had to fight like hell and show that the same issue happened twice to get mine replaced. That’s why I asked. Makes me wonder if they’re acknowledging they got a bad batch of the units.
