FSD 11.3.6 Fail - no stopping for school bus

Just posted a video of my drive using FSD 11.3.6 the other morning. Major fail. Tesla was following its own directions (instead of going through median and taking left, too a right and tried to make a u-turn. Then when it failed to do the u-turn, it went through a neighborhood and failed to stop...

    FSD-beta simply does not yield

The most common issue I experience is the one I captured this past week on myself and another vehicle merging into the same lane: FSD 11.3.6 commute with 1 disengagement Disengagement at 5:25 My biggest concern with FSD is that it still can’t recognize school zones either.

FSD 11.3.6 50+ minute commute with only 1 disengagement

You’re correct. I tend to not trust the FSD judgement of when to start changing lanes. I’ve had experiences where it merged into the exit lane with less than 0.2 miles until the exit where I normally move into the lane much earlier. Not sure if this is because I have “assertive” turned on for...

FSD 11.3.6 50+ minute commute with only 1 disengagement

Very true. Honestly the most challenging part was merging on to the highway and then crossing 4 lanes in the span of a mile. Even so - before FSD 11.3.6 I couldn’t leave downtown without at least 3 disengagements. It feels a lot more natural now

FSD 11.3.6 50+ minute commute with only 1 disengagement

Just posted a video of my commute Thursday using FSD 11.3.6 from downtown Houston in peak hour traffic with only 1 disengagement the entire drive. Great progress on FSD. Disengagement at 5:25 in the video. FSD 11.3.6 in peak hour traffic

FSD 11.3.6 avoids accident during commute

Thanks for the feedback. This is the first video I’ve posted in almost a decade - trying to figure things out. Reason for the length is just to show a drive with no disengagements and complex maneuvers

I used "Super Tint & Alarms Houston" just north of 610 off of Ella Blvd. They did an outstanding job in about 1hr.

honestly it works great. There's a review video on YouTube where the guy compares it to a yeti. Obviously not as good, but given that is a flexible cooler it works very well for a day.

For those of you that purchased FSD - play with your car for the first day and then press the button to request beta. I made the mistake of pressing it immediately without thinking and on the first day got a safety score of 94 while I was learning the car. Every day since I've been 98-100 and...

I have myQ which is quite cheap on Amazon and works really well. Not limited to tesla either - uses your phones location. Personally don't use the auto open feature, but that's just a personal preference

Houston, Texas - Model Y Deliveries

Yeah - I was definitely curious about the sexy buttons. But the more I looked at it, the more that seemed to be better for others rather than me. So from a purely selfish standpoint, I'd advocate for the hud over sexy buttons

Autopilot in Houston Texas & Surrounding Area’s

Been predominantly driving 290 and 99 between Cypress and Katy. No issues with phantom breaking with the exception of legitimate "unknowns" (aka driver in next lane drifting past center lane). Have found phantom breaking more frequent when using on non-highway streets due to increased caution...

So far there's only been one "must have" accessory that I've purchased (and much like a lot of the folks here, my Amazon account was constantly seeing tesla related purchases...). Having driven a manual for the past 10+ years, found it hard to use just the center display for speed. Found this...

PSA - sentry mode Just for everyone's awareness, sentry mode is not turned on by default. Houston, Texas - Model Y Deliveries

I picked up at Cypress. They claimed I was their first customer. Honestly experience wasn't what I expected. Houston, Texas - Model Y Deliveries

Just got a call from the Cypress dealership. Looks like the vehicles that were in Dallas haven't been delivered yet so they asked to move my delivery from Tuesday morning to Wednesday afternoon. They said the biggest hold back in being able to give us the vehicle is requesting temporary tags...

Houston, Texas - Model Y Deliveries

They're definitely not sure, just that their system shows Tuesday delivery of the transport (June 7th) and if that's actually the case then they can't deliver same day (because of wash and checks). We should know for sure by end of day tomorrow if anything gets pushed. Just a heads up
  37. A

Houston, Texas - Model Y Deliveries

Just stopped by the Cypress dealership. Looks like those of us scheduled for Tuesday delivery should be ready for a delay. Vehicles currently still on Dallas - meaning there was likely a transport delay

I contacted tesla on the web and they provided me with the number of the dealership that I'd be working with (turned out to be the league city dealership).
