Secret rubbish bin Easter egg unlocked

I know my Tesla loves bins. It's the best day of its week when they are out on the street But in my driveway this morning this was on the screen. Not sure what happened but they didn't move as I drove up the driveway There was a couple of bins behind me but... Running 2023.26.7

    Tesla Software updates - Australia

I just downloaded 2023.26.7 the other day, but I think the previous update changed the behaviour for checking for updates. You used to be able to look for updates every 24 hours, now it is a longer gap. Not sure how long, but about a week. I'm going to keep my eye on it and see if it is the...

    Tesla Software updates - Australia

I have had 2023.12.9 for a couple of days now 0 wiper failures, but I don't often get those It does seem to take off behind a car a little bit faster than it usual slow poke crawl, but still drifts too far behind for reasonable driving

    Misread Speed Signs

This is a sign on the access road to a school car park. So I doubt there would be any mapping data available for it Some days it will recognise like this incorrectly and somedays completely ignore it too. But it has never got it right! There are 3 along the road and they are always the same...

Model Y review from an mechanical and software engineer's standpoint.

I think it might also be something along the lines of when the cars were designed they know they wanted "Automatic Steering" so they found a ratio that suited the automatic steering ad the human pilots as well. Most cars are 99% human drivers with the automatic stuff only taking over very...

    Model 3 Number plate options

How are the standard Aus plates mounted on the car? Is it possible to have them not make those holes or do they come from the factory like that? I prefer the look of the lower bracket mount that is used in the US, but not sure how the Aus cars are delivered

    Supercharger - Tuggeranong ACT

Still fenced off this morning. Looks like everything is in place. Will be a nightmare to use though - every charging/parking spot has a great big square concrete pole next to it!

    Tesla Software updates - Australia

This article says the new cameras will cover all of Tesla's vechiles https://www.arenaev.com/tesla_strikes_a_new_deal_with_samsung_to_buy_cameras_for_the_next_five_years-news-362.php They will probably just start building them into cars as the supply changes over

    Australian Model 3 Waiting Room

I think if you make your playlists public, then you can find them from the car's account. It might take a few days for them to find their way across to the public view though

Model 3 2023 updates? Or what would you guys like to see?

I have never driven a car without stalks for indicators. But I can;t see it being a good thing. The position of the "Indicators" changes as you move the wheel. Fine for turning when you are going straight, but that's far form the only time you need them.

    Australian Model 3 Waiting Room

They seem to bring these changes out at the start of a "Year" fairly close but not exactly on a calendar year. Like the updated interior and ryzen chip in the MCU were bundled up as part of a model update. I think it makes the paperwork easier to get a bunch of things approved at once. So I...

    Supercharger - Tuggeranong ACT

Is the Brick wall in the back of the picture new? I'll have to go and have a look. Kind of makes it look like you will have to reverse all of the way back towards the bays to get in there. Super tight

    Australian Model 3 Waiting Room

There would be a few country specific items as well. Australia has the rear child seat mounts on the parcel shelf that other countries don’t have. So there will be a few parts different per country
