From a standstill right around three seconds when I hit 80.

Did gaffer's tape on the other rear seat. No rattles at all from either at this point. Aesthetically the small amount of black tape looks good as a fix when exposed with the seats down.

Thanks for the update. While this wasn't an issue for me, I think this kind of thing will potentially help a bunch of people down the line.

See my post above. I had just gotten my car when I removed it and I am anal retentive. You just work the line while pulling towards you. I have absolutely zero even microabrasions or subtle chaffing. And I did not get lucky. It is a reproducible effort and I would not hesitate to do it...

Agree. The acceleration of the S Plaid is very similar to amusement park rides and it still hasn't gotten old for me yet. Can't fault anyone getting the regular S though.

I was told that since my car was leased they had to abide by the state of initial issuance. And that state requires a front plate. I'm not saying that makes sense. It was super easy to remove and absolutely no damage to the paint at all.

Love the yoke and this is my first Tesla. I'm not a Tesla fan bois and would like anything they offered. For reasons stated like a better view of the dash and driving something different makes me like it. Now, if I was going to track the car then I would want the conventional steering wheel.

You can likely say goodbye to the front bumper almost immediately since the car sits very low on low suspension setting.

Mine is awesome. I use COP and then cool the car to 73 as I am leaving work, and it works amazingly well.

Last 3 vehicles: 14 M5 then 17 X5M then 20 M5. Tesla S Plaid is my favorite car. Fun to drive. Never get tired of the acceleration. Handles highway sweepers well with the center of gravity being low. I like the tech. Great functionality with a large hatch. No regrets.

Anyone have any mods to prevent this? It’s an issue that is noticed every time I wash my car.

I'm only losing about ten miles of range and it works fairly continuously during my workdays.

For me, living in an intensely humid environment, I like having the overheat protection on. If I cool my car only when I am about to get in then everything still has heat soak and you still sweat in business attire for a while on the way home from work. That's why it is a game changer for me...

I keep it turned on and keep my car around 100 during the day at work. Then I turn the car to 72 before I get into it. It’s awesome. I do not care whatsoever if doing that uses 10 miles of range. It’s a game changing feature.

I popped the rear hatch today and noticed that the trim around the rear hatch window is a bit loose. It curves into the windowed area. It didn't pop back in when I pressed on it. I figure it is best to just leave it alone. Anyone successfully popped this back in? I'm not sure this warrants...

On month six of my Plaid. I came out of 2020 BMW M5. I have nothing but excitement every time I drive my Plaid. I love this car. Will get another one most likely.

First MSP for me taken in December. Had to have the rear bumper repained and the diffuser replaced. This was due to a different factory paint color having dripped on my grey car and under the clear coat.
