I think you had a bad luck with it. Mine is 2023 with 35k miles and I just did the warranty repair on my spoiler with no charge. The tech said it is well known issue and he had done many spoiler replacement services already

I could brick the display and restore it back meaning USB drive and flashing files were correct. It will not flash the new app32.upd by itself.

Could not get the update to work neither. Change file name to app.upd it bricked the unit so do not attempt to do this. Good thing that I was able to restore the display by using past firmware files.
