Will cars w/o FSD purchased (so just base autopilot) ever get on the software that runs FSD? Maybe once it comes out of beta (haha, I know). And what about a car w EAP? Could it use the FSDb software? (but obviously have features removed like auto lane change and end to end nav). I rented FSD...

Can’t they make an adaptor that also has a length of cord as an extension? Cars with problematic port placement could get these instead of just a short adaptor.

Ok thanks. I think that’s what I was asking. So I need to find a wall charger or destination charger that has 72 or 80 amps and confirm that my car is accepting that amperage. Then test it after the upgrade. Sound right?

Can I ask how much you paid? And was this from Tesla, a dealership or private party?

Did they have the same versions (or beta) of the FSD software and settings? A difference there could explain it.

That was right around when they were switching over. I had a late 2018 MS 75D and it had an 8 year unlimited warranty on the battery and drive train. I’m buying an early 2019 MS LR and it has the 150k battery warranty. On both, the standard warranty for everything else was already expired...

All the cars of that year come w basic autopilot free. It has traffic-aware cruise control and lane keep.

I think they used to offer FSD beta to people who hadn’t purchased FSD yet, effectively giving them free FSD (but the beta version only).

Yeah, since the first record says ”Dealer took title of this vehicle while it was in inventory” I was thinking maybe that date didn’t count. If it was a Tesla dealership demo car, would that date count? Is there any way to tell if it was a Tesla dealership? It does say Fremont.
