Poll: When will FSD V12 be in wide release?

I’ve got a 2020 MS raven w “Autopilot Computer: Full self-driving computer” (I think called HW3?). Will I be getting the 2024 v12 FSD code this round?

    Autopilot vs FSD

Thanks guys. That answers my questions. Sorry for the confusion. My question stems from me renting FSD (w beta v11) for a couple months and noticed how much better it is at even the standard autopilot stuff. Then when I quit my subscription, I *really noticed the difference. I was trying to...

    Autopilot vs FSD

Will cars w/o FSD purchased (so just base autopilot) ever get on the software that runs FSD? Maybe once it comes out of beta (haha, I know). And what about a car w EAP? Could it use the FSDb software? (but obviously have features removed like auto lane change and end to end nav). I rented FSD...

Tesla blesses other cars blocking two stalls due to short cord

Can’t they make an adaptor that also has a length of cord as an extension? Cars with problematic port placement could get these instead of just a short adaptor.

2020 (early raven) service estimate questions (CCS Adaptor retrofit + other)

Ok thanks. I think that’s what I was asking. So I need to find a wall charger or destination charger that has 72 or 80 amps and confirm that my car is accepting that amperage. Then test it after the upgrade. Sound right?

2020 (early raven) service estimate questions (CCS Adaptor retrofit + other)

Thanks. I have a friend w a 60/48 amp 220. Would that be enough? What would I look for?

2020 (early raven) service estimate questions (CCS Adaptor retrofit + other)

Uh… can I test this before and after on a supercharger? What would I look for? I’ve just got a 16amp 220 at home.

Why you should skip the powered frunk and grab a Satonic soft close frunk

Ok thanks. Any chance do you know if this would work w a 2020 raven model S? Anyone?

2020 (early raven) service estimate questions (CCS Adaptor retrofit + other)

I thought the CSS retrofit was supposed to be free for my year, but I’m not sure where I heard that. Maybe I was wrong? The estimate from Tesla service is $450 (but was originally $0, so maybe I was right?). Besides the free vs. $450 question, is there anything else I should know about this...

Why you should skip the powered frunk and grab a Satonic soft close frunk

Could you post a link? The OP link doesn’t have one for MS. Thanks!

Can I ask how much you paid? And was this from Tesla, a dealership or private party?

Is FSD Better on newer Teslas?

Did they have the same versions (or beta) of the FSD software and settings? A difference there could explain it.

    New preowned model s 2018

Post a pic of the Software screen and the Additional vehicle information popup from that screen.
  17. J

    Used model s

That was right around when they were switching over. I had a late 2018 MS 75D and it had an 8 year unlimited warranty on the battery and drive train. I’m buying an early 2019 MS LR and it has the 150k battery warranty. On both, the standard warranty for everything else was already expired...

FSD functions on used 2018 Model 3

All the cars of that year come w basic autopilot free. It has traffic-aware cruise control and lane keep.

    FSD Question?

You need to look at the Software page (the one behind the popup in your pic). Right below the “Additional Vehicle Information” link on that Software screen, it will have the autopilot info. The first like will say what level of thing is active (Autopilot / EAP / FSD) and the next line will...

    Does this include FSD?

I think they used to offer FSD beta to people who hadn’t purchased FSD yet, effectively giving them free FSD (but the beta version only).

    Model S Warranty Question

Yeah, I’m trying to figure out if this one I’m looking at has a 10/22/2019 warranty start or a 05/22/2020 start date. The first title record says “Dealer took title of this vehicle while it was in inventory”

    Model S Warranty Question

So was this a Tesla demo car for the first 10 months (or whatever) or did it just just sit around not selling?
  23. J

    Warranty start date

Yeah, since the first record says ”Dealer took title of this vehicle while it was in inventory” I was thinking maybe that date didn’t count. If it was a Tesla dealership demo car, would that date count? Is there any way to tell if it was a Tesla dealership? It does say Fremont.

2019 mid-Raven update - battery code and drive train.

Thanks for the info. For others reference, I found a discussion of late 2019 raven -E code battery issues here: 2019 Model X Long Range Raven - HV battery replacement

    Warranty start date

I’m looking at a used 2019 MS and wondering how much longer the warranty has time-wise. It’s a dealership, so I have no contact w the previous owner. From the carfax registration dates, it looks like maybe a couple months? Or maybe till May of next year? What do you guys think? It has 31k...

2019 mid-Raven update - battery code and drive train.

I’m looking at buying a 2019 model s LR and am wondering about the battery code and the fact that it doesn’t have CCS adaptor support. Are there any red flags w this battery (see attached photo)? I was expecting to see an -H or a -G at the end of the code. Not sure what -E indicates. Anyone...

The 2020 will have some significant improvements, but the 150k mi warranty. Tesla Model S Ultimate Buyers Guide That said, I bought a pre-raven 2018 and was very happy w it. It did have the upgraded MCU and self driving computers though. The past-tense is because I totaled it :(…

Looking for an older Model S - Do I understand the differences? What amenities can I skip?

tesla-info.com has a lot of useful info about builds and versions and how to tell them apart. I got an 2018 MS75D with FSD in November 2022 for around $45k and love it, but wish I had gotten a 100D. One thing to note about free supercharging is that somewhere around 2017, they offered...
