How to remove this glue residue on the dashboard?

I bought the car used like this. It's from a toll tag. I've already tried looking online from where I tried alcohol hand sanitizer but didn't do a thing. Any other tips? Thanks.

PG&E Used EV rebate - they need a registration card in my name/address WTF

https://evrebates.pge.com/ So PG&E has a $1k rebate for used EV purchases ($4k if your income is low enough) but 1 of the requirements is they need a registration card in my name and address. The issue is the previous owner has paid for the registration until May of 2024, I've searched all...

Tires for those who drive on FSD beta a lot.

My car needs new tires and I've been reading a lot and debating about whether to go for the Hankook Ion Evo AS for range/quiet or the PS4S (Pilot Sport 4S) for "performance". Then I realized I drive in beta almost all the time so why would I even need a max-performance tire? For those of you...

How to mount cabin view camera (i.e. Gopro etc.) to record driving on beta

How do those of you who use cameras to record the car while on beta, mount your cameras? I have a short suction cup mount hanging down from the ceiling that's too short, so I bought an extending pole that makes the camera shake so much it looks like I'm driving through a 9.0 earthquake.

I'm on 2023.2.12 on a 2023 Model 3 and would like to subscribe to FSD to try out FSD beta in the future, so I'm waiting until the FSD branch catches up. I have the 2023.6.8 available to install and everytime someone gets in the car, there is a large prompt on the screen to install it. (as well...

We have L2 Chargepoint chargers with zero support from Chargepoint. We've been asking for months for them to look at some stations that have been down without any response. So our office admin is looking to replace them with another company's chargers. Anyone have insights into which company...

    Mudflaps in urban California?

In all my years of driving in California, I've never gotten mudflaps for any of my cars, even others cars with known 'soft' paint (i.e. Honda) and never had any issues. It seems though, Tesla owners are very much into wrapping their entire car in Clearbra (called PPF now) and putting on...

Danger of leaving garage door opener in the car

My dear wife is a very cautious person (but can also be rather careless). She also spends many hours each day on Facebook, where she is constantly seeing articles meant to invoke fear. She regularly sends me articles about kidnapings of children from cars, robberies in daylight etc. She...
