FSD build 2023.38.9, 2023 MYP HW4. 1up super duty double rack. Sometimes with bikes loaded the car will steer abruptly left or right for no apparent reason, seems to do this more frequently with bikes loaded than without them in there. Previously had 2018 M3LR with 2.5 and USS so still missing...
HELP! 2023 MYP, Installed Wildpeaks 255/55/18 on Tsports day before leaving on a 2000 mile road trip. 2 bicycles on a one up hitch rack and getting 400 wh/mile never going above 70mph, but not much under either. Will try taking some backroads the next day at slower speeds to see how much a...
Anyone running 245/60-18"? I know that 255/55-18" is what most are running for Overlanding, but the 245/60-18" would get an extra 1/4' ground clearance and is listed by Martian Wheels as a recommended size.
Planning on doing either Tsportline lift kit, or MPP lift kit. Tsportline claims you...
Has anyone found a bike rack that the tailgate won’t hit when the rack is folded up without bikes on? Didn’t have this issue with the stealth hitch on the 3.
Trading our 3 in on a new Y and plan on getting the Tsportline 18" with Wildpeaks. Next will be the MPP lift kit and camber arms. I'm a noobie when it comes to suspension mods. Anyone know a good shop in the Denver, CO area to install the kit, or is this so basic most any place that does...
I just asked yesterday at demo center. If you refer yourself then you only get the $500 off. If someone else refers you, they get 10,000 points and you get the $500 off.
Just got our 10.4kw and 2 PW installed this week. Waiting on inspection and PTO, but we are making power. Has anyone enrolled in the XCEL program for distributed battery control? Looks like a pilot program where they control your PW except during storm watch and give a $1250 credit per year...
I'm interested in your winter tire/wheels. Probably driving up to Denver later this week, what is the tread depth left? My Blizzaks were just about done at 12k?
That’s not bad, we lose at least 20% just with a hitch mounted bike rack and 2 bikes avg 65mph, rising exponentially with speed. Those bikes are like a drag chute. I’m thinking about a small camping trailer and throw the bikes inside that, kill 2 birds.
How about a power wall with a built in inverter and transfer switch, to take advantage of time of use metering. Plug and play into my NEMA 14-50 outlet used to charge the model S. I guess to be used as backup power for the whole house it would need the transfer switching inatallled on the...
I did buy those tires at Kuni Lexus as they price matched Costco also. But I don't think I had to buy them there, just have to pay them for the mount and balance, and I make sure they know the correct torque and 22mm wrench size, I haven't found any fire place that gets the inflation correct on...
It seems like the simplest way to scale service centers would be to add second and third shifts of techs to work on cars all night long. But we do need more centers nationwide, just so it isn't such a long distance between them. Hopefully they get this all scaled up before our model 3 arrives...
I live at 9000' in CO, so I would imagine that is colder on average than DC. I charge in an unheated garage with 110V and it most always adds 4 mph all winter long. It is parked outside at the Denver airport half the week, so a bit more vampire loss there than during the summer, like 4 miles...
Im moving the tires over to my parents house in Denver, and unfortunately I don't have the time to figure out the shipping options for the tires, so for now, local pickup only.
Blizzak 245/45R19 Tesla Model S - $660 (Greenwood Village)
Used one season, approximately 5000 highway miles driven on them up and down I-70 last winter. Moving to AZ, so I don't need these anymore. Currently stored at Lexus of Greenwood village, the best place in town to store your...
Blizzak 245/45R19 Tesla Model S - $660 (Greenwood Village)
Used one season, approximately 5000 highway miles driven on them up and down I-70 last winter. Currently stored at Lexus of Greenwood village, the best place in town to store your winter/summer tires. Just $60 to mount and balance...
My favorite L2 charger to use, even when I don't need it for range, is at Red Rocks amphitheater near Denver. It gets you upfront parking right next to the bands tour buses. Just tell security that you would like to access the charge point chargers at the trading post.
Otherwise I just use...
I checked the TPMS display today and all 4 sensors were reading about 5 psi lower than the reading on what I think is a pretty good quality gauge. Has anyone else compared their readings?
First chance to try it today. 100 mile drive on I-70 heading east into Denver, half before dawn and half just after sunrise driving into the sun. I disengaged it through the construction zones. Several times it tried to take an exit to the right and I had to intervene. There was a couple of...
A kind of temperature hold for a preset time, so that when you are out running errands and stop and park, the climate would stay on when you leave the car so it doesn't get too hot while you are away.
What happened to destination chargers in this routing software, I thought they were supposed to be included in the options. i tried a route from Denver to Santa Fe a normal 380 mile route. There is no supercharger along the way yet, but a HPWC for a 4-5 hours would maybe do the trick. Instead it...
Denver model S for rent soon
I am considering ordering a model S and would put it up for rental in Denver with airport delivery included if needed. I see there seems to be quite a bit of interest in other owners renting one while on vacation, so what kind of premium are you willing to pay...
