Never mind. I called to ask them about the change in the portal and they said there was a car ready for pick up on 9 Mar. The VIN changed for a 3rd time when assigned a delivery appointment.

This could be a silly question but do you need to pay the final amount before they will send you a link to schedule delivery?

My MYSR was originally on Eternal Ace but Tesla emailed me saying they've reassigned me a different VIN in order to get my MYSR earlier. They stated they did this because the originally assigned VIN was going to hit delays due to port congestion. I have the new VIN via checking the website...

Talked to Tesla today and the rep confirmed the new car I’ve been assigned in NZ and that I should expect the final invoice very soon and be able to schedule pick up late next week.

I’m assuming it’s because it was the latest shipment that arrived and they have a delivery appointment. I don’t think we’ll be able to confirm if the new VIN was on that ship. Just have to wait for a delivery appointment message.

If anyone else got the same email about switching VINs and the EDD has changed to 4 Mar to 25 Mar, I believe it is a Tesla on the vessel PAGANELLA. You can track the PAGANELLA vessel here.

@pothenj I just got an email saying due to congestion in ports, Tesla has reassigned me a new Tesla that is due sooner than the original assigned car. They said the final invoice that reflects that will be sent through soon.

Yeah Eternal Ace definitely picked something up in Singapore because the draught changed by quite a bit after Singapore.

Nope same VIN. Interesting they’ve moved it to a date that is well before the ship will arrive. Won’t even be in Fremantle (Perth) until tomorrow morning.

It shows the transhipment on the MOLACE website tracker. If you go to their site (link in my above post) you can search your VIN and then click the “itinerary” button next to the result. It shows that Swift Ace goes to Thailand and then from Thailand it’s on a ship called Eternal Ace.

@pothenj also I don’t see Swift Ace as an expected arrival in the Ports of Auckland. Both Eternal Ace and Paganella which have been identified as car carriers transporting Teslas are on there.

Nice either way it's close to getting to Auckland. Did you check your VIN on that link I provided? Because @dm_nz paid for a tracking service and seems to think their Tesla is also on Eternal Ace.

I have the same build date. Interesting the delivery date is different even though we’re on the same boat. I haven’t been able to confirm for sure which ports ETERNAL ACE will stop at from where it is now and Auckland.
