There's not a lot of cars getting it on TeslaFi either. The previous updates had moved into the multiple hundreds of cars per day getting it by this time, this update has had less than 200 per day.

What software version are you on? Mine came the morning after I updated to the 2024.8.7, before that I'd not bothered changing it. Personally I wouldn't change it until they tell you or to, or if it stops working.

it's even worse when you do leave it on, someone hits you and the Tesla doesn't save the clip (happened to me recently!) Personally I leave it on everywhere except home and favourites, and even then I run an automation in tessie to turn it on between 1am and 7am (I don't have cameras at home)

They are the alloys that are fitted under the aero covers as standard. If the car doesn't come with any you can buy the aero covers and they'll snap right on, but 'as standard' the car would have come with aero covers.

Looks like this could be the case, significantly less installs today vs other days, and it's followed the same pattern as 8.4 where it started low, went to around 1k per day then has tailed off again.

Same here two nights ago and still no update! Only 4 more days and it'll officially be the longest I've had between updates since I've had the car!

Seems like most of the cars on teslafi getting 8.7 first were on 8.4 so definitely seems like a bug fix.
