Pyro fuses confusion for Tesla S

After airbag deployment you need only to change the small pyro next to fuse box, unless the HV system was damaged.

    Therma test: failure of chiller

I would check the AC system for leaks and AC level at any workshop.

    Therma test: failure of chiller

Hey, my issue resolved by itself - I'm not sure it passed with one of the updates or it was just the amount of time that passed or even maybe using a 3rd party DC fast charger. The errors dissapeared. I haven't made thermal tests but will report how they went. So I wouldn't care much about those...

Toolbox 3 Gateway Configuration Edit on Model 3 / Y?

Could you elaborate? Service shell is the code lines that are accessible by toolbox 3? If you have an subscription and don't mind making some photos of steps I would be grateful! 🤝 I had a subscription for tb3 once and I guess I have seen it - but I will be buying just 1 hour subscription.

Toolbox 3 Gateway Configuration Edit on Model 3 / Y?

Hey. I was wondering are rear lights changeable in toolbox 3. I need a change from US to EU or GLOBAL, but not sure right now there's an option in TB3 for it. I don't wan't to waste money on 1 hour subscription just for it to turn out it's not possible. I had a guy come and change my config...

Charger broke my OCB - is it possible?

So a little update for people who will maybe in future find this thread. I plugged the charger mentioned in the post and after half an hour it started throwing codes PLCRLY_a139 CHG_u014 PLCRLY_a139 CHG_u007 I noticed that the charger is blinking red and got scared and unplugged it straight...

2022-on UK Model 3 gateway config

Is it possible to change lights from US to Global (after physically changing the lamps) with customer version toolbox 3 or you need to change the car configuration with service version or loki or other???

Replacing Onboard Charger Gen3 2017 MS75D...My Experience (With Photos)

yes 400/3p - do you use an adapter for 3 (two hots) charging in US??? From what I understood USA chargers are single phase with higher input amperage like 48 or 72. EU OCB is 3P but max amperage per phase is 16A. The EU OCB has 3 modules inside. I might be missing some info on how the car...

Replacing Onboard Charger Gen3 2017 MS75D...My Experience (With Photos)

Orginal Tesla 48A 1P USA spec charger - so yes used from a car with 25 000 km ( around 15 000 miles ). I had to change it to charge at home with 3 Phase system.

Charger broke my OCB - is it possible?

So long story short: I fixed crashed Tesla S and changed original On Board Charger to European 3P OCB bought a used from UK - it's a 3rd gen charger, but I have no idea of how many charging cycles it was used in or how much miles/km donor car had. I also bought used Tesla 1st gen 3P charger and...

Replacing Onboard Charger Gen3 2017 MS75D...My Experience (With Photos)

I have an aftermarket charger I took out of my car to switch it to EU car ;) and I've seen quite a few on ebay.

Replacing Onboard Charger Gen3 2017 MS75D...My Experience (With Photos)

It's really an easy job - I already took the OCB out twice ;) second time took me only 1-2 hours. I can guide you with step by step. Also you can view tesla workshop manuals for free and it's well described there. And I have charger that I took out of my car which is 48.

    Therma test: failure of chiller

Have you been able to resolve the issue? I have the same (actually 3 errors) - chiller, temp sens, AQS. I am wondering if temp sensors fail maybe the chiller will come back with error? Also I'm getting d0018 active areo (I just need to check which one is it) and d0011 presSnsDis - which is...

Replacing Onboard Charger Gen3 2017 MS75D...My Experience (With Photos)

So we figured out what was wrong together with the independent Tesla engineer which I called to clear airbag module, TAS module and reprogram region + CCS. Turned out I made a simple mistake with MCU. I wanted to get the car as close as possible to EU specs myself so I found tesla part called...

Replacing Onboard Charger Gen3 2017 MS75D...My Experience (With Photos)

That's quite obvious that version mismatch made something inside not working properly, but it turns out it will even prevent the car from starting or even letting you to change gears from park to neutral. I haven't expected that because although charger is an element of HV system it is not...

Replacing Onboard Charger Gen3 2017 MS75D...My Experience (With Photos)

Hey guys. Maybe someone could help me out. I got a salvage s 100D 2019 imported from US to EU. Decided to change few things before I start it (charger, port with cables, port door). Then I wanted to program it all with toolbox 3 access and now the fun started. I couldn't do anything with...

Multiple GTW Errors After Extensive Repair - Unable to Charge - 20 MX Performance

Hi, I wanted to refresh the thread as I don't see anything similar elsewhere. Backstory: salvaged tesla s 100D, added to tesla app, can't start, won't recognize the keys thus can't open gateway, phone app start is allowed but does nothing, vechicle off all the time and drive rails off. Before...

Should I install software update on salvage car?

To be honest I'm not sure if I have DC fast charging. I heard stories that tesla turns it off - but I was pretty sure it's in cars with free supercharging. Hmmm - I have already downloaded it but haven't installed it yet. Dosen't connecting to Toolbox 3 (which works with internet connection...

Should I install software update on salvage car?

Hi all, I have a small dilemma. Little back story: Bought salvage Tesla S 2019, front end damage, airbag curtains & driver blown, air suspension valve block damaged, I fixed everything and replaced top pyro fuse. Also I retrofitted 3 phase charger, CCS, LTE Europe modem on MCU (worked...

Pyro fuses confusion for Tesla S

Hi everybody, So first maybe a little background: I bought a salvage Tesla 100D 2019 from an auction and imported it for myself to Europe. Damage is driver airbags, curtain airbags, left seat belt, complete front (bumper etc), compressor and valve block, also right upper shotgun and right...

Hey, I already added myself to some local FB groups. Some declined me joining as it's only for people living locally. Actually it's 100D not P100D (i wish it would be). I will be going thru those photos, actually I already viewed a lot of them. I will be able to prove my ownership in late May...

Hey, 1. Thanks for advice. 2. That's interesting, but someone else confirmed that it can be done with toolbox, that would avoid me taking the modules out - I could even buy 1 day subscription which is really little. I will need it anyway to start the battery, air suspension etc. 3. That's big...

    Previous owner search

Well, it's always worth trying. I heard on the helpline that transferring the ownership of the car that is imported and not drive able is harder than normal. They say they might want to see it - which I would like to avoid for obvious reasons. Getting the keys could be and should be really...

Hey all! Some time ago I bought a salvage Tesla S 100D, 2019 grey, with aTm letters next to registration (prob stands for A&M university). Due to insurance company policy no previous owner information can be obtained from them. Basically I am looking for previous owner to transfer ownership...
