I use an Apple iPhone as my key. My lounge is right next to the car on my drive.
I use the focus feature to turn my Bluetooth off between 10pm and 7am. Plus pin to drive.
That’s interesting, never seem to have any issues pre-conditioning mine via the app.
If you are having failures I’d suggest might be worth reporting to Tesla via a service request so they can look into why it’s failing for you.
Yes you can.
You can use the Apple short cuts build into the Tesla App. Those can be set as Automations in the shortcut app.

The old owner was still signed into mine. So I emailed them .. didn’t get a response. Signed up to premium connectivity in the car .. then they transferred it sharpish.

Expand all options and untick, prompt each drive. (example attached), each one of the downward facing arrows can potentially have the tick box, so expand them all.

Is it me or does the FSD preview look quite light in detail. Especially junctions.
Certainly compared to YouTube videos of FSD virtualisations from the US.
I haven’t bought FSD, but wondering the if FSD preview will be improved to match the actual FSD experience in the US?
Yep you do all of that and it still happens..
The point is before you don’t really see how often it happens on a normal car. Sentry mode just makes it more obvious it has happened.
I have seen this message in the service settings with a slider. The last part doesn’t make any sense to me:
“Premium amplifier is powered off by default in service mode. This ring located on its bracket to avoid electrical damage.”
Obviously not a lot you can do about it, but seeing on Sentry mode the number of times I park somewhere and someone just bumps their door into mine is annoying. I guess before I didn't realise how often it happens.
It’s definitely odd, as phone is showing as connected in the app - but car doesn’t unlock if I leave the phone on the couch. I have to bring the phone closer to the car to work.
I assumed it worked on a time based calculation of the signal. So whilst you can have a connection it isn’t one that...
iOS you can use the focus mode to automatically turn off Bluetooth. So mine turns off at night and back on in the morning.
If for whatever reason I need the car earlier/later I just turn bluetooth on manually.
P2D is on anyway.
My car is parked less than 2 metres away from my window. If I...
For the full route of journey (well zoomed to remaining part of the route). You can just select the turn by turn view. You’ll get your view ahead of the remaining route allowing you to see the traffic.
It doesn’t help, but I went for a doorbell that records 24/7 for that exact reason as I don’t like detection based recording as it does miss things. (I have a nest wired doorbell - 10 day 24/7 and 60 day event)
If you look on YouTube there are videos of people removing that chrome trim that may...
