I tried that in the UK without much joy. They repeated what service said which at the time was that it was a non issue. When I let them know numerous owners had the same problem I suddenly got much better response and fix soon after.

It’s RCM for sure and agree Tesla Service is awful. Too easy to close service requests without understanding or resolving issues.

Yeah all standard or RWD MY and M3 cars from past 18 months are LFP. Also all cars impacted look like Shanghai produced though I’ve not looked through them all.

I meant the phone app with % charge top corner. Issue looks like LFP only so RWD cars. We have 1 fix with new RCM online but that’s it I think. 2 cars going into service this week for same solution so let’s see if it works.

Sounds like you have this spot on! Do you think this could cause long term damage to some of the hardware? If not fixed soon?

Thanks so it’s purely after driving that it refuses to sleep. Will try mine tonight then log with service to book it in.

Let’s just keep in touch I’m sure if we keep pressure on Tesla a solution will be found. Mine is sleeping fine and wakes on app use so it can’t be the app. This was same as last update but after driving would not sleep. I am not hopeful it has been fixed. Will know tomorrow. My bet is that...

It’s so frustrating. I can only suggest you screen grab your Tesla app screen with the % charge at night. Don’t access the app then screen shot again in the morning. Send this attached along with your service request explaining what u did. Also take a screen grab of the Tesla guidance online...

Did that fix the drain issue?

No just change your password and that would lock everyone out but you. Suspect that’s not the cause. When u update the car or reset it don’t drive and see if it sleeps. Then drive it. If the issue goes away then comes back you have the same issue as rest of us.

Oh no. I was hoping this was the fix. Will you book it in now to get diagnosed RCM looked at?

Yeah I can tell by how long it takes to respond/wake up in the app after 20 minutes. Takes 5 seconds or more vs instant if not sleeping. If 3 of us with identical issues found our way here there must be hundreds or even thousands of owners with the same issue.

Thanks for the update. Mine did the same (no park assist or cruise) but that came back after the Ranger “Rebooted” the car and it has stayed active through the last software update. I’ll be pretty certain if latest update fixes my issue next Tuesday. So far it is sleeping. If not, I’ll pass...

Hi I have been through the same issue on a 2023 model Y RWD. Last update the car slept initially but not after driving. Support gave me the same feedback as everyone else on this thread. I just updated to 2023.20.9 and the car is sleeping. I’m on holiday though so won’t drive it until next...
