Tesla's Supercharger Team was recently laid off. We discuss what this means for the company on today's TMC Podcast streaming live at 1PM PDT. You can watch on X or on YouTube where you can participate in the live chat.
When I drove the Plaid for a few thousand miles, I found it normally found the gear for me.
Obviously, you don't wand to go forward when there's a car or brick wall in front of you.
Just got the renewal for the S - up 38%. Looks like it's back on the roundabout.
I sent them a polite inquiry as to why the 38% increase and got a heap of bullshit in reply.
They are all crooks; as I said before, I have a 2015 S 85, a 2020 3 LR and a 2023 Y RWD all at ~$800 PA with Allianz.
All policies have excess ~$1500 and one included windscreen; low km ~15,000 PA helps.
No limit on drivers as I have a P driver (law stops him from driving the 3).
I have a Gen 1 UMC with a three phase adapter. Unfortunately, the UMC just failed and Tesla can no longer repair/replace it.
Anyone know where I can find someone to repair the UMC?

I am in the Sunshine coast hinterland and in my 70s.
All vehicles have glass covered with no...
As long as the charger is capable of more than 16 AMPS; some aren't.
I just checked all screens on the console and the App - no mention of dual chargers.
Glad manufacturers are finally getting rid of column stalks; first few cars I had didn't have them (too confusing).
Drove a Plaid from LA to Austin - appreciated the lack of stalks.
Back in the day when Digital Equipment first released their Alpha (a RISC PC), the small PC exceeded the USA definition of a super computer and hence couldn't be exported. This looks like the same type of thing where so called 'experts' can't see their hand in front of their face.
Last year my 2020 LR3 was insured with APIA for $961; this year they want $1165 (an increase of 21% - no claims etc).
They also decreased the 'Amount Covered' by 10%. That all smells of daylight robbery.
I have a replacement quote from Allianz for $880 with an increased 'Agreed Value'.

I trialed ChargeHQ 12 months ago. Since then had a problem with charging stopping just after starting.
Tesla tracked it down to an external event; changed Tesla passwords and all good.
I deleted the CHargeHQ App 12 months ago and something was still stuffing with my charging.
Tesla perhaps...
In the beginning everyone drove on the left side of the road - was to do with having one's sword arm available in the event of a problem.
Then bloody Henry Ford decided he preferred the other side...
Maybe he was a pacifist or perhaps left handed - who knows why he did it.
