    UK MXLR+ second hand considerations

I was referring to the 7th digit in the VIN. Taken from Tesla-info.com: "Digit 7 is a vehicle attribute linked to battery type (but not battery size) and charger. E being usually Lithium Ion, F being Lithium Iron/LFP etc. Not all cars from 2022 follow the format precisely, especially E and F."

    UK MXLR+ second hand considerations

My normal journey would be 155 miles, starting from home (with home charger) and to another house with home charger and back again a couple of days later. I just want to be sure that I would have a car that could do that in all weather and seasons without having to supercharge on the way. For...

    UK MXLR+ second hand considerations

I took a look at the US Tesla site where the MX is still available to order. It states there that the standard 20" wheels will give you 335 range (EPA est) as opposed to the 22" will give 322 range (EPA est). This is obviously for the 2024 MX rather than the 2021 MX but presumably is a...

    UK MXLR+ second hand considerations

Thanks for all this , very helpful. Is this what you might be referring to as the "Energy Screen"? (That was taken from 3 current listings on Autotrader).

    UK MXLR+ second hand considerations

Have now seen a few MX LR Plus available with the 22" wheels. I am sure I read somewhere on this forum that the bigger wheels will reduce range, is this the case and if so by how much? Is it a reliable guide to look at the Wh/mi reading on the car's display to see what its actual range could...

    UK SC cost structure

Can anyone explain the whole cost structure of the UK Supercharges? I don't have a Tesla yet (still looking for MX LR plus) so can't use ant Tesla app yet. I can see price at Tesla SC sites for non-Teslas, currently 49p / kWh but can't find the Tesla owners cost. Thanks.

    UK MXLR+ second hand considerations

Thanks for that is is very helpful. Is the H battery reflected in the VIN? ( I believe Digit 7 is linked to battery type) This would help me check if my future car had it or not without travelling miles to see it first.

    UK MXLR+ second hand considerations

Thanks. One of the issues I am experiencing is that Autotrader UK is listing some MX LR as Plus when they are not. I spoke to one dealer about this and they confirmed that Autotrader (UK) listings are "automatically" added from minimum details they provide. I suspect that Autotrader are going...

    UK MXLR+ second hand considerations

Looking to buy second hand late 2020 MXLR + in the UK. Apart from obvious second hand issues on any car to look out for, is there anything specific to the MXLR + (plus) that I should be looking out for? How can I even be sure it is the + (plus) version in the UK for example? Thanks in advance.

3 car seats in the back

We have looked at the Enyaq for this very purpose. We took 3 seats along for a test drive and although we could squash them all in you could not access the belts to do them up and the two outer seats were at an angle. We tried with just car seats on the outer two seats but it was difficult to...

Model Y Bigger wheels - Less range?

Currently looking to buy the Model Y in UK. Have seen some discussion that the bigger 20" wheels give less range the the standard 19" ones. Indeed the Tesla site configurator for Model Ys shows a range of 351 for the 19" and 331 for the 20". I can understand that overall wheel and tyre size...
