I’m happy to report that I have had no return of the smell in my 2020 model 3 and the smell never started in 2023 s after installing the dams and hydrophobic covers over the air intakes 5 months ago.

How fast does model 3 performance go 0-60

I don’t have any issues and the range is much more real than the 3’s range. I drove about 5 hours mostly above 70mph in 20 degree weather without charging the S LR. Also, the 0-60 in 2.9 is crazy fast for me and I would say lot of people.

I took mine off with fishing line and hair dryer to apply some ppf myself. I did ok with the ppf but I’m going to get part of the front professionally done. My quote was 6500 for full ppf which I can’t just justify for paint.

Why not just get the LR. From my reading on this forum it seems most of the major issues have been with the plaid. The LR is still crazy fast.

The standard autopilot nag is way too sensitive and shuts off auto pilot even when hands are on the wheel. I covered the cabin camera and it’s back to normal before the update.

It seems to me you could just buy the part and swap out the filter yourself but I’m not sure.

You could do the sock and dam first and see if the smell disappears once the filter stays dry or try spraying some Lysol or something on the filter to kill any mold.

Has anyone gotten a quote on doing this or price for the parts to do it ourselves?
