"off grid" but using the grid

As an fyi, I spoke with Tesla support and the rep said a firmware update to the gateway and powerwall was pushed out on the 13th of October that is causing this. Apparently the bug is a reporting one and does not reflect actual increased usage from the grid. Tesla team have received a number of...

"off grid" but using the grid

Before I reach out to Tesla support, I thought the experts here might know. I went off on holiday for a few weeks leaving the house on low-energy mode. The solar + powerwall2 can supply the house fully so effectively the house is 'off-grid'. It was doing well for just about two weeks and then...

    Off-grid frequency shifting

Thanks everyone, this is very helpful. Just as an FYI, after 40 minutes of looking at the data, Tesla support sort of gave the same but slightly different reason. The rep I spoke with said the house draw was low (below 1kW) so once the battery's SOC goes > 50%, it will shut off PV production...

    Off-grid frequency shifting

Hi, first-time poster, long-time reader. I might have missed another thread explaining this issue, sorry if I have. PV system is an 11.9kW system with IQ7+ microinverters and 1 Powerwall 2 with gateway 2. The grid went down yesterday because of Hurricane Lee around 7pm with battery at 100%...
