Model 3 RWD Purchased November 2023

First week with the RWD while living in a complex with outdoor, unassigned parking and commuting 5x/week to an office that shares parking with a mall. I had Sentry mode on at both locations but it’s become apparent that it’s unreasonable as it’s ~22 hours/percent of use a day.Game plan is to use...

Discussion: Model 3 Price reductions - Jan / April / Oct 2023 and all other pricing discussions

I received a $4K inventory discount on my 2023 RWD. Even if Highland qualifies for the $7.5K credit, that’s still a minimum $4K cost for the upgrades since Highland won’t have any discount. Likely more, as I doubt it will start at $38,990 (current 2023 price). Personally, I was ecstatic to...

Discussion: Model 3 Price reductions - Jan / April / Oct 2023 and all other pricing discussions

Saw so many comments that confidently stated that Tesla would slash RWD/LR prices by $7,500 when they become ineligible for the tax credit.. Of course it could still happen but I always found it wildly unrealistic that Tesla would eat the cost.

Received a poor quality photo of my 2023 RWD. That’s just the light reflecting and not actually chrome trim right??

Model 3 demo car with 4k miles - worth buying?

How is abusing a Tesla different than any other car? If anything, the daily supercharging is something to worry about that IS exclusive to a Tesla.

Same. The car I ordered was marked as “Available for Immediate Pickup” so I scheduled for 12/23. SA calls me and says the car is actually currently sitting in Chicago and they’re working with logistics. Pending an update today but I’m really counting on delivery by 12/31…. Thankfully Chicago is...

Tesla is selling model 3 demo vehicles [12.21.2023]

Not sure if this is common for EOQ/EOY but tesla-info is showing about 100 demo vehicles with <100 miles (saw as low as 4 miles) in the US. I can think of 2 buckets that these low mileage demo's could fall in: floor/showroom models and designated test drive cars that didn't have a chance to get...

Model 3 demo car with 4k miles - worth buying?

Yes, absolutely. I did confirm that my purchase agreement shows the vehicle as New so I should be in good shape.

Model 3 demo car with 4k miles - worth buying?

Curious because I'm in the same situation.. Placed an order on a "Demo" with only 25 miles so I'm assuming it's a floor model? Was yours also very low mileage? The warranty says it goes through Dec 2027 which means it was placed in service this month. Best case scenario would be that it was a...

Good to know. Best case scenario would be that it was designated as a demo but they decided to just sell it for EOY!

Discussion: Model 3 Price reductions - Jan / April / Oct 2023 and all other pricing discussions

Ended up changing my spec (had to pay another order fee) to MSM/white interior with 19 inch wheels. Price was only $37,430. It was listed as a demo vehicle but only has 10 miles. I would assume it’s a showroom/floor model. Although it shows that the limited warranty is until December 2027 which...

Amazing, congrats! I didn’t see the $35K but happy to hear that it went to you. I can’t complain about getting it for $36K especially with the limited stock. Will be headed to Cleveland this weekend for pickup.

Discussion: Model 3 Price reductions - Jan / April / Oct 2023 and all other pricing discussions

Guys…. Was checking prices tonight and saw a RWD MSM pop up for $36,650. I lingered for 15 minutes before deciding that I’m going for it. I do an inadvertent refresh and magically another pops up for $36,260. Immediately bought and will hopefully take delivery this weekend. TuxMat floor mats...

Shooooot. Feeling some heavy FOMO… Will be an interesting week. I’m undecided whether this sways my purchase decision and what my own price ceiling is.

Discussion: Model 3 Price reductions - Jan / April / Oct 2023 and all other pricing discussions

Anyone know about the process of buying a new Tesla out of state? Did some initial research and haven’t seen anything conclusive from Tesla. Just conflicting anecdotal stories in forums. A showroom 3 hours away in a neighboring state currently has RWD’s almost $2k cheaper than the in-state...

Haha I’m going for MSM with White interior. Cinci had it for $35,990 and Cbus for $36,390. Will happily purchase for at either price!

Yikes….. Ohio must have had some buyers this weekend because I’m seeing the cheapest RWD hike to $37,430 (was $35,090 a few days ago). I guess that happens when you try to time to market! Let’s see if another dip comes during the week.

Discussion: Model 3 Price reductions - Jan / April / Oct 2023 and all other pricing discussions

I don't think the 10% discount is gone but I think it may be the bottom... Waiting for MSM with White interior to hit Columbus at $35,990. Already saw it in Cinco but want to go to the home sales center. Would be wild to see 11% or 12% nationally on tesla-info because then I'm just going to be...

Discussion: Model 3 Price reductions - Jan / April / Oct 2023 and all other pricing discussions

We have already seen $4K+ discounts on the RWD. I just checked my screenshots and there was a Gray/White RWD for $37,120 on July 29. That was a $4,210 off $41,240, a 10% discount. Crazy that current pricing is something we saw 4 months ago... As @KT93 outlined, discounts are appearing to be in...
