    Considering Model X purchase

Yea my guy already has about 50 pounds on your puppy, and he is only 14 months old Am trying to get into tesla the same time that the manager of the service department for my dealership is in (may travel to a larger location to ask as well) Right now I have removed the rear seats of my model 3...

Speaking with a tesla service manager today, when I dropped my vehicle the people there could not answer my question, they said they require their manager to look into it

    Considering Model X purchase

To my knowledge new chassis was delivered in 22, but there were some updates such as lights during 23 production but I am not an expert on this so I cannot verify validity of this

    Considering Model X purchase

Yea , the other thought is if I want to go custom and build a dog impact crate into the vehicle, 5 seater with seats removed or 6 seater with the removed seat mod(most effort possible and tesla dislikes this ALOT) at least my service center, asking my direct manager today when I return the Model...

But I hate the yolk, have used it rather a steering wheel

    Considering Model X purchase

Great information, you saved me much research and comparison, I was literally doing just that on my free time between compiles xD
  7. C

    Considering Model X purchase

Yea the insane mode is quick for sure, it's crazy to think it's the base model
  8. C

    Considering Model X purchase

Thank you sir, really appreciate you testing that, the loaner had a 6 seater configuration so I was left to my imagination on what could fit in a 5 seat configuration.
  9. C

    Considering Model X purchase

If I can fit one yes, at the moment just have harness and seat belt setups
  10. C

    Considering Model X purchase

    Nice

    Considering Model X purchase

Wait , does the performance model come in 5/7 seater option May go with that used, I assume this is the 2021 chassis? Do you know chassis names? I only know of the palladium chassis for the S
  12. C

    Considering Model X purchase

How could the community start a petition for this? I'm sure the 6 seater already ****ed their sales anyway.
  13. C

    Considering Model X purchase

So your saying it's possible to hack it to a 2.9 setting xD
  14. C

    Considering Model X purchase

Yea that is a weird one, I wonder why the decided that Is there any info on that choice or its left to the ether
  15. C

    Considering Model X purchase

Probably will do that same as you and eventually just get a second vehicle for the sporty fun of it in the future Family/dog has to be first !
  16. C

    Considering Model X purchase

Thank you for your time and info, given your experience and same ballpark as me it's invaluable that you chimed in!
  17. C

    Considering Model X purchase

Yea you state very solid arguments, although I'm my area there are as many plaids as there are standard Xs xD The falcon doors are also something that sold me but may I ask, have you been into service much in regards to thise doors? What is the warranty like that covers that item (I assume...
  18. C

    Considering Model X purchase

Yea now you sound like my father xD its a solid suggestion I wish he could fit in a plaid S with the seats removed completely (that is a thought right there xD)
  19. C

    Considering Model X purchase

Alot of good info here I appreciate it, Yea if I went with X base (or long range or standard I haven't a clue how they are designating trims anymore for the S/X ) I'd go for 7 seater and place it all down(might as well have the 3rd row if I'm not going plaid) Still that juicy performance is sixk

Not a huge fan of lucid, but I'll have to check the gravity The cyber truck is the other I have considered but they are not really available the same way You have really good data sir I must say

    Considering Model X purchase

In a fair setup I would wait for the ICE to prepare and get in the proper RPM range But I do see your point there
  22. C

    Considering Model X purchase

Ah I did not know that in regards to them testing with a rolling start
  23. C

    Considering Model X purchase

X3M Comp can keep up with a M3P from sitting for example
  24. C

    Considering Model X purchase

Mostly looking at realistic performance I can use, rolling starts and sitting starts ti 40-60 mph But I do see what your saying it's performance is great on quarter mile
  25. C

    Considering Model X purchase

911 outperforms many cars with half the HP, it is how it delivers it not the HP
  26. C

    Considering Model X purchase

I currently have it as a loaner, Yes I have done the cheetah stance launch as well to test this. It definitely has pull I will give you that but I don't think it would out perform the M3P. I have overtaken pretty much any X that wasn't plaid that actually tried (that is a key factor as well)...

I don't think it's slow but was trying to either maintain or increase** acceleration when I upgrade if it's an option

When your hitting the M series I would disagree same with porsche on the higher end But the cost is dramatically different hence my inquiry to model X

    Considering Model X purchase

0-50 matters most in daily driving, not trying to go to jail hitting triple digits, I've looked at and test drove model X 2023 platforms I am not saying your wrong, I am saying I haven't seen the data, May I ask the year/chassis your referring to so I can do my research?

    Considering Model X purchase

But I'm also an engineer so I kind of like the challenge and project, Also the 3rd row is left usable in my approach as the chips are left in having the car think that they are there, allowing humans and the nnessecary usage of the seat belt for the dog (he wears a harness with a paracable...

    Considering Model X purchase

Yea looks like I'll be hopping back to a BMW or Porsche SUV instead since they have performance and actual utility I want to do it but tesla was not so fond of that one. Removing and modding seats in the 3/S they support but not the X it looks like
  32. C

    Considering Model X purchase

Might be a good temp solution but I don't think the 3rd row plus trunk is large enough xD Currently in a M3P
  33. C

    Considering Model X purchase

Might be a good temp solution but I don't think the 3rd row plus trunk is large enough xD I'll have to test with the loaner then clean it up after
  34. C

    Considering Model X purchase

From the looks of it, although a pain in the ass it seems removing the 2nd row non foldable in a model X plaid would work, to avoid possible warnings (and potentially allow seats to go up and down in the 3rd row) one could remove the seats yet leave the boards plugged in (still have to speak...

Here is the image I was referring to just in case
  36. C

    Considering Model X purchase

As I understand it, the 3rd row gets locked in this scenario(would keep it locked in up position), and I would have to take it to tesla to reconfigure the vehicle for the airbag warnings that appear as there are airbags in the seats themselves apparently. Does anyone know if this information is...

    Considering Model X purchase

Human in the image is 5 10. For reference for size. This is my concern for the height clearance is he was to stand. I believe the 5 would be fine though but seeing images of the 6 seater with the 2nd row removed. Is this something tesla can do or that is custom/warranty breaking I'd rather not...
  39. C

    Considering Model X purchase

Yea he would only fit if the second row was down, but his height clearance still is pretty bad in that situation Spoke sith my service manager he says as long as the seats(being removed) aren't related to any issue I bring in then warranty still covers the vehicle But forgot to ask if the X 2...
  40. C

    Considering Model X purchase

I was researching if removing the 2 seats in the 6 seater configuration He is too tall to stand over the third row when it's folded he could only use the area back there to lay, to stand I must remove the second row or fold it It's not that the dog hates the 6 seater, he literally is too...

    Considering Model X purchase

Currently on the site for the 2023 and the used 2022 models I only see model x base or model x plaid I assumed the cars have only 2 options now after the refresh.
  42. C

    Considering Model X purchase

Apologies I did not give enough info The seat could 100% support his weight but given he is a dog there is a high likelihood of high damaging a seat like that if he sits in it, currently he stands on the entire rear seat row of the model 3. With a 5 or 7 seat configuration I would put all the...

    Considering Model X purchase

Looking at upgrading to a Model X, I want to get the plaid but I just found out second row doesn't fold in the 6 seater configuration. The reason for the upgrade is due to my animal outgrowing the model 3 rear seat area. I have a 140 pound German Shepherd and he is supposed to be around 175...
