finding a mechanic willing to give a second opinion is difficult. Can anyone here with a Tesla Y 2023-2024 please share a video of their HVAC service screen set on auto, low, comfortable temperature for about 3 minutes?

This is new, just for a moment compressor says unknown and pressures go blank.

I’m still yet to see anyone else show me their short cycling compressor, does yours do it too?

It’s lithium ion, if it were lead acid I’d gladly test it with another battery but alas. I’ve never seen it go over 80% in the service menu, but it might just maintain that voltage I’m not sure.

That does make sense to me. The battery gives an under voltage error for about 20mins at a time. The SC said because the error doesn’t come up on the normal screen then it won’t be addressed. You think I should focus on getting the low voltage battery replaced?

Hey I’m getting this also. Tesla service says it’s normal but a few here have had temperature sensors replaced and the problem solved. Am thinking it’s a wide spread issue they’d rather sweep under the rug because short cycling compressors are not healthy.

Heya am referring to the original posters issue, where the climate uses more that 50% of the battery. Seems like the issue was resolved with tinting and a glass shade on the roof?
