Tesla's Supercharger Team was recently laid off. We discuss what this means for the company on today's TMC Podcast streaming live at 1PM PDT. You can watch on X or on YouTube where you can participate in the live chat.
Yes, charging could be a challenge. Fortunately, my trips will primarily be between Las Vegas and Los Angeles. The Baker, CA location las the latest EA chargers which have gotten great reviews. There is a interesting video on YouTube by Kyle from Out of Spec reviews. He does great EV...
Hope you don't mind the long story, but I wanted to provide where I ended up....
My first experience with Tesla was a 2013 Model S P85 that I purchased with 19K miles in 2015. It was a great car. I kept it for five years until I had 80K miles and never had any issues except for the door handles...
I am in NV and have one coming next month, The base is $104 and change. I added Red paint, so it is at $108. Not sure how to do a transfer....DM me if interested...
My X just got moved up to next month.....So I am getting motivated to sell. Price drop to $58K and I will pay a $500 referral if you find someone to buy my car. Significant savings over a new one and it has the parking sensors, which I understand is now removed from the new cars - cameras only...
Here's an opportunity to save over $11K over what a new one would cost today with all these extras - and you don't have to wait. I have an X coming. Car is always garaged and only hand washed. No dents. dings and wheels are in perfect condition - no curb rash. Dash cap and center console are...
I was not even aware that the M3LR was not available to order. I have an X coming. I am not quite ready yet, but for about what you would pay for a M3LR, I am going to be selling my 2020 M3P with 13K miles very soon. Red/Black with many extras like PPF, etc. DM me and I can provide specifics...
I'm probably a little early, but I have a X on order and will be selling my 2020 M3P Red/Black in the near future - 13K miles. Lots of upgrades like PPF, etc. If someone does not want to wait and wants to save some money, DM me and I can provide specifics. The car is in Las Vegas.
Thanks,
Dave
I think you are missing something here. You might want to consult an attorney, but under the federal Magnusson Moss Warranty Act, Tesla has to prove that your mod caused the issue. You do not have to prove that it didn't. This law was put in place in the 60's and 70's when people were hot...
We had this issue in my wife’s Y. I bought the Kool It Evaporator cleaner. I also replaced the filters with the Hepa filters from Tesla Offer. The smell is gone.
Certain cities, like Beverly Hills and San Diego, are famous for checking parking structures and lots. Easy tickets. Carry the plate with you and place it on the dash when you park. That meets the requirements.
No, it should not impact your warranty - Check the Magnuson-Moss warranty act. If the dealer claims the mod causes an issue, legally, they must prove it....as opposed to you having to defend it.

Had the exact same issue. Took off the latch, and as someone pointed out above, I tightened the cable. I also moved the latch up just a tiny bit when I reinstalled it. When it goes to close, if you push on it lightly, does it latch. I did this a few times and then it seemed to be...
I adjusted the locking cable and it seems to be working fine. My last thoughts: Getting the strut on the driver’s side was an absolute nightmare. As a final resort, I have a screw driver that is about 2 feet long. I used it to leverage the ball joint against the frame and was able to snap it...
Installed it in the Y today. System is working but I am having one small issue. The hood comes down but the latch is not grabbing it and pulling it closed. If I put a little pressure on the hood it will grab it and pull it closed. I’m thinking I might need to raise the latch. Have a question out...
Installed the 3.0 in my M3P today. The only advice I would give is to make sure you mount the control box on that top bracket as close to the windshield as possible. I had it mounted too far forward and could not install the Frunk liner. Had to redo a bunch of zip ties to move it back. To...
I have a 2021 with the flash drive in the glovebox. I am having the same issue. I have to unplug and replug the flash drive for the car to recognize it. I have the Jeda hub, but I am not sure it is the Jeda hub. Seems more like a software issue.
As of early this morning, he told me that he has processed 46 orders. I just submitted 2 for me....so that is 48. We had about 70 people commit. Hopefully, we will hit that number and they will have a good January.
Also - If you have not watched the YouTube video by The Frugal Tesla Guy, he...
Morning Update: Still no code yet. I emailed him twice yesterday. Was hoping for a response last night, but nothing yet. I am not surprised. When I first reached out to them, each response took a few days. So please be patient. I am going to continue to bombard them with emails until we...
