I haven't seen anything about a range difference that drastic. I've only heard 1-2% and just watched a video from an earlier model 3 test that was less than 1% driving 50 miles or so. Link to confirmation regarding 6%? Range is really important as I drive a lot. Can be 200 miles/day.

If there’s no other choices, choose no. It’s easy to get back and forth if needed. I’ve got my vin and financing is locked so I cannot change mine.

Most folks have just been choosing cash. Once you get a vin you can change to finance. A lot of banks have 30-60 day approvals so you don’t want an approval too early as it might expire.

Yes, I was told and researched that once you get your vin, go ahead and do your finance and insurance. I did mine immediately after getting my vin. I explored tesla insurance and was quoted $180 and $140 through state farm (who has all of our cars/house/etc).

You never know...I thought that it mainly updated in the morning but I got my vin assigned on Sunday evening. Was just checking the app likely I normal do every 5 minutes and there it was. Did all that before I got the text telling me to check the app!
