why does dealing with Tesla service have to be such an obnoxious experience?

Agreed, also include the fact that the app shows completion dates that have expired with no status updates (in my case). But even worse still is that my car came back badly damaged due to negligence after a pretty straightforward warranty claim, its now taking days to rectify some of the issues...

    Request - Rear window seal

Hi Everyone, Could someone please post a pic of their rear window seal, the seal thats on the window that seals between rear of boot and rear window? Model 3 front doors creaking / door check straps

This worked, took 5 minutes, 1 strap had to be pushed down a bit, the other pushed up a bit. TIP for anyone doing this: Make sure the strap doesnt look like it will catch on the rubber boot attached to the door, or the boot comes off and you will need to readjust. Thanks for the how to @Mercimek 👍

    Warming up

So things are warming up in the UK, finally. I noticed the M3 dash temp is between 3-4 deg C higher than the actual outside temp. Aircon needs to be at least 4 deg higher than the outside temp or the car is freezing. Is there any way to calibrate this? Thanks in advance

    Residuals / Depreciation

    Odd m3 issues

Thanks, it seems a very common issue, even on low mileage vehicles, it supposedly happens when the grease in the ball joint dries up / leaks, but its a 1 piece component so they replace the entire arm. From what I have researched Tesla made a revised part but not much better. Temp fix is to...

    Odd m3 issues

Time to update, Ill add as much detail as possible as to how these niggles are sorted, or any workarounds I stumble across. 1) Condensation in rear lights, if pooling, drill pilot then reseal, if minor, reseal with adhesive around joint between lens and case. If under warranty get replaced. 2)...

    Odd m3 issues

More to add to the todo list - so far theres... • Condensation in rear lights • Boot panel gap • Condensation in head light Latest- • Squeaky suspension when turning and low speed, Im guessing this is definitely the infamous upper and lower control arms (sounds like rubbing polystyrene) • Front...

    Odd m3 issues

Thank you, crisis averted, I noticed a clacking just below the drivers side pillar, opened the frunk and theres a plastic guard that covers the inner part of the frunk hinge and holds the 'washer top up cover' in place. It was loose and the wiper arm was knocking it and sending the vibration...

    Unreliable charging using Intelligent Octopus

I had this issue with my Ohme, if its similar then you need to turn off ALL scheduling in the Zappi app including any unit price limits and any scheduling for in the Tesla. Not sure if its the same problem exactly but worth checking.

    Tesla Warranty

Thanks for confirming The dealer has offered to paint the calipers as part of the sale, I am a little concerned this will invalidate the braking system warranty, but pads and disks are wear and tear items so wouldnt be covered, only really the caliper itself, pistons, seals. Im guessing they...

    Buying a used M3P

    Buying a used M3P

Cant unfortunately justify a 21 M3P, possibly late 20 HP M3LR looks similar price as a 69 M3P. The M3P does seem to be better bang for buck at the moment though.

    Buying a used M3P

This was my understanding, so if the common suspension issues raise their head then they need to resolve the issue within 6 months which is why I considered lower mileage, few months older option.
