Semantics probably, but are you saying the $250 did not come off of the price of the car? The order agreement parts out the pricing more than the website, but that $250 was part of the web-quoted price of the car for me.

The car isn't going to precondition the battery unless you set nav to to a supercharger, manually enable it (via 3rd party tool), or set a planned departure time.

SR has LFP and can be charged to 100% LR has NCA and shouldn't be charged to 100% unless necessary. Both lithium ion, but very different chemistry.

Call local electricians and get quotes from them. They're almost certainly going to be cheaper than whatever Tesla middle-man provider is going to be charging you.

abetterrouteplanner.com you can customize the charging stops.. i think the maps are generally a litle more "efficient" as well vs what Tesla offers through whatever service they do the routing through.. it's not google .

You can't even order a M3H with a tow hitch right now, so I'm guessing that's why you're being told it'll be installed later. They likely don't have the hardware for it available yet.

did you follow a route from ABRP? I've looked at some pretty long ones in there and it splits the charging up into pretty small chunks (more often for less time)
