It is most likely the clock spring for the airbag and steering wheel control buttons. It's normal! No other way to get the control circuit harness to work because the wheel turns. Clock Springs & Airbags - MotorWeek

I purchased some LRR EV tuned tires of a larger size to try and help eliminate this issue. I went with a 265/45/20 to see if it will reduce the possibility of a small error on my part, of FN up my wheels. 🤙

To add! Don't yank on the charger plug handle either. I've witnessed people trying to unplug their cars at a charging station, by trying to lift the car off the ground from yanking so hard on the handle. 🤬

It's known as stress and flex from weight and load shift. Glass can't flex like steel and remain intact.

I wouldn't put a rack on a glass top. There is another member here with one and it's cause the top to crack.

If it only had 22 miles, it should be fine. If it changed the steering center, swap it to the other side and see if that makes a difference. Radial tire pull can happen, even if the tire is not on the front axle.

Yes, it requires recalibration.

Before changing the alignment, move the new tire to a different location. Is your car AWD ? If so, you can't replace just one tire.

Use a spray bottle with soap and water. Air up the tire and spray it. Look for bubbles. 🤙

Leave it apart and tell Tesla what you have found. Keep your parts at home so you can reinstall them when it's fixed. Otherwise, they may warp from the heat of the sun, if left laying in the car.

The missing piece of glass is not impact damage. It's chip-out. The crack is from stress at the roof rack stanchion . IDK who would install a rack on a car with a class roof. If Tesla instated, it's on them unless you can prove it wasn't overloaded. Good luck with that! IMO, you should remove...

IMO, if you used the middle of the pack, it would be better than down in the mid 20's. Say 30 to 60% if that's all you need. 🤙

What setting are you using for steering ? Try all 3 before you take it in.

Nope! I leave my phone connected too. When I don't want it connected at night, I stick it in the microwave. The car is running it's conditioning and using power and that's why I leave it plugged in @ 80%.

The problem with this ^^^^ you have no trailer mode. The range won't update properly, you have no trailer sway assist. You're bypassing the cars systems. This could result in improper handling in an emergency due to lack of traction control systems compensating for the added trailer. YMMV!

I didn't use the APP. I used the SC button and it worked normal. YMMV!

My 3/24 build just did this today. I plugged in before it could close. When I taped on the door it snapped two times and then started closing. I heard in another thread they used the APP to operate the door and it corrected the problem. Will test it tomorrow.
