We got our reg a while before the vin appeared

We are confirmed 17th May collection (M3) and on the compass and were told it could not be delivered to Bristol... going to London

It is certainly carrying M3s as it has my M3 on it. I'm due to collect 2 weeks today and it's been listed as in trainsit since we bought it a month ago.

That makes sense. We just checked the pre configured ones and bought from from that list. Now they have to travel around all of Africa I assume the trip takes a few weeks longer too.

Maybe you ordered one to be made from scratch rather than buying from existing inventory/"pre configured" on the Tesla website?

My car is in transit since we purchased it - the only boat it can be is RCC Compass (docks 8th May) given its Shanghai to UK for May collection appointment. I think in transit is still on a boat.

The next boat to arrived at uk with m3s is RCC COMPASS on 8th May afaik. My M3 stealth grey is on it (currently "in transit"). We have collection booked for 17th May.

The UK delivery of M3 from China is due to dock 8th May afaik

For anyone wondering, we got the option to make the final payment about 6 hours after the vin showed up in the app

We got the license plate about 10 days before the vin

To clarify though we ordered from the option where you can look at cars already made. We only wanted the grey paint option and there was one vehicle listed that had that colour so we just bought that. Rather than configured one from scratch. It was listed as "in transit" when we bought it so it...

Collection appointment on 17th May and still no vin. Also I had a question about payment if anyone knows.. we put down the deposit but have not been asked in the app to put the rest of the payment through - how long before collection do they get around to asking normally?
