Bay Area to Tahoe without stopping in a 3?

Yup, totally agree. I was being slightly facetious about the 55mph. I may even be able to make it with my p90dl X if I drove slow enough.

SF bay area to Tahoe without stopping?

I tend to get similar consumption, ~560 Wh/mi with my X, from Rocklin to Truckee regardless the time of the year. I attribute it to higher speed during the summer time and slower in winter; speed kills! Ugh seemingly so close...

That is super encouraging. Northstar is actually a bit further than where I am. What iteration is your 3?

Bay Area to Tahoe without stopping in a 3?

Hi all, Has anyone made it up from the Bay Area to Tahoe without having to charge? Driving >55mph? Specifically, I am traveling 176 miles from the east bay to Truckee. I'm considering a performance AWD, however, this would be the prerequisite for the next Tesla, we have spent wayyyy too much...

"safe" tire stores for your X or S in SF east bay

Good to hear about the walnut creek America's Tires. It's 5 minutes from my house and I've been there in the past. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

"safe" tire stores for your X or S in SF east bay

Apparently due to my driving tendencies, I need new tires at 13.5k miles. Tesla has very few options and a slight upcharge on whatever they do have. So I am looking at other options such as Costco or even America's Tires. The jacking procedure doesn't seem that complicated, however, I'd hate...

Fixes for seal and/or alignment issues on early deliveries? Service plan?

For all of you who took relative early deliveries which were plagued by the notorious seal and alignment issues, have your service centers been able to fix them? I'm at about 11,500 miles and will be bringing it in for the first routine (have gone in 3 times to address minor issues) service. So...

First Glitch - Pass Window Won't Go Up

Had the same window issue about 2 weeks ago, however, mine was clearly a problem with the rubber seal. As the window rises, the seal on the outer/door side (passenger side) would roll up along with the window until it became too bulky and applied enough pressure to force the window back down...

How many people are taking delivery of their Model X in March?

For all who have the "visible" delivery dates from 3/24 to 3/31, have you all received your purchase agreement yet? For those who have taken delivery of the vehicle, what is the time frame between getting your purchase agreement and date of delivery?

    Starting to deliver Production P90D

Hmmm, wonder where my VIN 263 is then? Had this comment from my DS on 2/8, "Your vehicle is undergoing final quality checks, and quality assurance which usually takes a few weeks". He had also asked me to line up my finances at that time for which I was able to secure a nice 1.99% from Alliant...

Estimated delivery date has disappeared from MyTesla

Mine did as well. Prod vin 263. However, this coincided with an email from my DES stating, "I have great news! Your vehicle is entering active production where we are assembling the interior of the vehicle. After the vehicle is complete it will move to its final inspections and quality...
