Don't see how it would affect the airbag. The mount doesn't move the location of the screen. It just allows it to rotate.

I did used 3 coats. Yes, how you apply plasti dip makes a huge diff to the end result. You have to make sure the can is at room temp and the spray nozzle is clean. This prevents clumping and ensure a nice even spread of dip.

You have two choices. The first is to re-spray with the mirror closed to get the unexposed area. The second is to simply not fold the mirrors. :) I've left the mirrors in the unfolded position for now, but since you've mention it, I'm going to re-spray with the mirrors folded to finish it off...

I have valet doors. Hardly ever touch the door handles. Once the dip cures, it's just as durable as vinyl. They're both plastic after all. :)

The local Tesla mod shops wanted over $1000 to "de-chrome" the Model X with vinyl wrap. We DIY it with $30 of Plasti Dip. It came out great!

Being driving in Orange County for 5+ years now with out a front plate. Never once been pull over. Drove for 8 months without any plates and never got pulled over. Cops in the OC don't seem to care.

Just before free supercharging for life ended, I added another Tesla to my fleet. My current black outside white inside Model X will be joined by a white outside black inside Model X. The Roadster won't come until 2020 and I'm still deciding if I want to keep the Model 3.

My feeling is if you have to justify it, then you shouldn't buy it.

This is slowest Supercharger I have used so far. Came in with 40 miles left. Charging at only 94 miles an hours. Busy location. All stalls taken. Waited 10 minutes.

I like solid colors over metallic colors. You can get a much deeper shine with it. Also, the solid black was $1,500 less than Obisdian Black. I used the savings towards the black 22" wheels.

You may want to look at this Sony A6300. It offers 2/3 the performance of an A7R II at 1/3 the price. Its not a DSLR but it's performance is mind blowing. Best APSC camera you can buy right now. Does 4K video too!

This one Sony A7R Mark 2. It's a full frame mirrorless camera. 42 megapixels. I was using a Sony FE 24-240 lens. Processed the photos in Lightroom.
