Official Western Colorado Tesla Owners Club

The Doubletree has Tesla and J-1772. The Rochester has J-1772. And if you have an adapter, there's a ChaDeMo station at the transit center. You might be able to explore some more options with Plugshare!

News for Model X owners with the dreaded shudder

Anyone else notice a return of the shudder, ~18 months after having had new halfshafts and jackshaft assemblies and installed new clevis mount? Mine has noticeably returned

    Supercharger - Holbrook, AZ

I'm there now. The Burger King is closed to all but drive+through traffic and stall 1a is maxing out at 98kW, but it's functional.

Yokohama Geolandar X-CV - Finally another option?

They're good. I like them. Still rolling.and spinning. They seem to wear better than the originals

Yokohama Geolandar X-CV - Finally another option?

No, sorry, nothing more than a dusting!

Yokohama Geolandar X-CV - Finally another option?

So far so good, but honestly I haven't driven on them much. Not a ton of driving during pandemic, and I just took off my snow tires in late March. I'm not a tire guy, my X is basically our family minivan. But the tires seem great. I don't think they're loud, and they spin in circles and...

Official Western Colorado Tesla Owners Club

Heyllo, I am working on starting up an official Tesla Owner's Club in Western Colorado. We are considering calling it the Colorado Plateau Owners' Club and can then include eastern Utah as well. In order to do so, we would need 25 confirmed owners in the area (roughly Vail to Moab, Rangely...

    Supercharger- New River AZ

Agreed x100. Been waiting on Kayenta for 4 years now as "coming soon". Drive through last week and couldn't see any evidence of Supercharger construction anywhere.

Can we PLEASE Get a Competent Service Center in the Rocky Mountain Region?

Colorado could definitely use a service center that is outside of the Front Range. Things can get stretched a bit thin for mobile service appointments, and I've got two places in mind. Glenwood Springs: This is quite close to Aspen, Vail, Carbondale, Snowmass, and even reasonably close to...

    TPMS reset on V10

Here's what the Denver Virtual Service Team told me today about our 2013 Model S. I live 4.5 hours from the Denver Service Center, so they have been working with me remotely: "Currently all four sensors are not reporting any measurements. If you have swapped the wheels the sensors will need to...

    TPMS reset on V10

Yes, it was also a surprise for me, and I'm glad to have those features back after letting the car sit overnight!

    TPMS reset on V10

This did not work for me. I didn't get the "TPMS RESET" message pop up. Instead, after I tried to switch back I lost Traction Control, Stability Control, and Regenerative Braking. So now I have good winter tires but nothing else. I expect a fix for this soon but it's very frustrating.

News for Model X owners with the dreaded shudder

Just do a fast acceleration from a standstill and if it feels like the wheels are unbalanced then it is shuddering. On ours, it was worst in the 40-60mph range. But if it needs the fix, you won't need to second guess, you'll know it immediately.

News for Model X owners with the dreaded shudder

I got the shudder TSB fixed at the Littleton (Denver) Service Center this week (D halfshaft, H Clevis). It feels like a new car!

Yokohama Geolandar X-CV - Finally another option?

I drove about 350 miles on the Geolandars earlier this week. I don't really watch or record my typical Wh/mile so I can't speak authoritatively to their efficiency. I will say that the average of the first ~500 miles since installing the tires has been about 10-15 Wh/mile higher than the 25k...

Yokohama Geolandar X-CV - Finally another option?

I installed the Yokohama Geolandars on my Model X today. I've only driven a few miles so far but am looking forward to comparing them to the Continentals on an upcoming road trip.

    Supercharger - Silverthorne, CO

Experienced 2 drops from around 90kwh to 20kwh or less. The app notified me that charging had been interrupted when this started happening. It recovered back to about 90kwh after the first drop but not the second Stall 3b. Approximately 30% SOC and trying to get to 75%.

Dog Mode for older Model S?

Just got the update to 2019.12.1.1 last night. No geo-folding mirrors, but then again, my mirrors don't fold at all, at least without me sticking my hand out the window :)

Dog Mode for older Model S?

I have a 2013 Model S with Autopilot 0. I am still running 2018.50.6, which means no Dog Mode (and summer is approaching). It seems like it I should have received an update by now! Does anyone with older, non-Autopilot cars have Dog Mode?

Utah Supercharger Locations (location speculation, discussion)

Heads up: I believe 1a and 2 are still out of order in this location. I reported 1a as dead in early November, and found 2a also down when we came through after Thanksgiving. I tried to report it too but was put off by the 40+ minute hold time.

    Mountain/Southwest Meet and Greet

Hi, the Downtown GJ car show is on Sept. 22 this year. I am going to inquire about a group entry for an "electric alley" sort of area where we could display our cars (and answer the inevitable questions from the public such as "how far can it go?" and "how long does it take to charge?") More...

    Supercharger - Poncha Springs, CO

Yeah, that link didn't work like I was hoping it would. I think you have to manually change the assumptions for the car that vespax described. I also had to bump the arrival goal to 5% to get the estimate I got.

This suggests that leaving GJ with 100%, you'll arrive in Poncha Springs with 11% (sticking to the speed limit). A Better Routeplanner
