I've had suspension issues with my 2018 MX every year for the last 5 years. I'm starting to regret ever buying that car :( Nightmare situation with 2018 MX suspension

What worries me the most is if I'm condemned with a bad car suspension design and that I'll have to pay again a 10-12K in 2? 4? 6years? I can't be the only one experiencing those issues with 2018MX? Price of ownership is not the dream advertised by Tesla no more. It makes me sad and mad.

I am livid. Really flabbergasted. The noise when turning the wheels when parked, are caused by the brakes rubbing against the pads when not engaged. If I press the brake pedal and turn, there is no more noise. BUT, the tech also found that the suspensions were still doing a noise on the front...

So just paid 7800$ to have both front and rear suspensions changed by Tesla. Got the car back and still having noises when going over speed bumps and while turning the wheel when parked. Am I right to say that this isn't normal or I am just crazy...

Got my car back. I don’t drive a lot so the car is still calibrating. Seems to be stuck at 84% but as I said, I’ll need to take out the car again and put some millage on it. On the plus side, I see orange cones now :p

When I said new design I meant for Tesla in general. M3 came with a new premanent magnet motors. So if you have a M3, whatever the production date, you have them. For S and X it only came with the Raven upgrade eralier this year.

Yes, motor improvements are only applicable on the new model 3 motors design. The Raven version only have one of those, this is why Raven MS and MX only get 3% improvement instead of 5% for the M3. And it needs to have HW3 for the cones. The thing I’m not sure about is the HOLD function. Why...

Update: after several (three) visits from the mobile service, several sensors replacement, they nail the issue down to a faulty coiled spring. They ordered the part and should be able to replace it soon. Love Tesla mobile service! So professional and convenient.

I got my X last November and got the enhanced anti thief installed a month later. So it worked fine for more than 6 month without false trigger. Could it be a firmware update that just made it more sensitive? Or maybe a failure from the unit that would need it to be replaced?
