Well, the saying goes that later this year MIG Model 3 and Y will receive the 4680 cells...
Could it be possible that the 2023 Model X will receive the 4680 cells, too?
Thank you. That is an interesting and helpful answer! And absolutely, I wonder how much of an advantage and in which conditions it is that the Y has a heat pump!
OK thanks. BUT I DO NOT WANT TO CHECK THE RANGE OF THE MODEL Y! I can read that on the Tesla site... I need the COMPARISON to the model X 2017 100 D.
But anyway.....
Well actually, there are tons of data which are saying different things. The ideal would be to find someone who has a 2017 Model X and a 2021 Model Y LR and who can tell me how they compare in terms of range with the same driving style...
Like in my original Roadster I was able to achieve a...
Well, the internet says a lot....I would never get 295 miles out of my Model X 100D.
But the interesting would be the comparison.
The data I found so far was, that the X 100D has a lightly bigger range, then the Y LR, but.... the data seems limited
For what it s worth: I have a 2017 Model X and I just recently did test drive a Model X 2020. The 2020 was noisier then my 2017!! However I should get my 2021 X in December and then I can tell if there is any difference!
And what if Tesla gives up the roadster? Stops completely to support the original Roadster? If they may be decide to offer some trade in for the roadsters. I wouldn't believe that possible one year ago, but ...
The sensor does not work. But today I noticed that the front doors don't stop either on opening. So no sensors in the doors work?!
I tried to call Tesla but after 15 minutes waiting I had to work and they have not yet answered the Email. I'll try tomorrow!

Recently the falcon doors and the rear hatch don t stop when opening and encountering obstacles. Normally it stoped at a certain height in closed rooms. Now it opens always all the way? Any solution?
Has anybody any hints how to use most conveniently those or the originals from Tesla?
They are taller then the Roadsters clearance, so it seems that you first have to lift the roadster before you can put it on the adapters for the lift??!
Well as I mentioned it happened to my car, too. Twice.
Both times it was under warranty and Tesla replaced the gearbox.
It is a Borg Warners unit. The second time there was a wait as the unit was not available.
No idea how much it costs as it was under warranty.
Well I was very sceptical, but today I had the possibility to drive a Sion today. And you know what? It works! It is a clever and charming little car! It was a prototype, but it works! Some very clever solutions, interesting price, first deliveries autumn 2019 and most of all: they do not claim...
Thank you both. No holes for sure!
I like the looks of my old boot rack. If it is stable on my aluminium boot on my old-timer, shouldn't it be stable on the carbon of the roadster?
Dear friends
I would like to mount this boot rack on my roadster.
Any suggestions how to fix it so that I do not harm the car, but that it is safely fixed?
Thank you!

Here I am! A European hysteric! I just came back from France where I did drive my Model X through Beaune and Autun in France and was in real trouble making it through without any scratches.
And yes, it is disappointing that the IPace is wider then expected! And yes this and the fact that it has...
Tried to order a European version, but Fasttech says it has sold out. Is this correct? When can we expect the next delivery?
And thanks for all the work!
as72 that is a proof how subjective we are! I have owned a Model S for two years and have been sitting in two IPace cars in Geneva. I had the feeling that head and legroom in the second row is much less in the Ipace then in the Model S. And the build quality of the seats in those two IPace cars...
I ve had a Model S with the glass roof and have a Model X now. The little of the hair I still have never touched the roof in the S or in the X. Today in the Space i touched the roof.
Well, I liked the Rica and the new leaf, too
Very interesting! Thank you! You say that the IPace batteries are made in Poland. Today I asked a Jaguar technician in Geneva where the batteries are mad, she said in South Korea. What do you think is true?
I just returned from the Geneva show. I did spend a lot of time in and around the I-Pace.
Now: Please stop comparing the I-Pace with the Model X or the Model S. It is something completely different!
There is much less room inside the IPace. The seating in the second row offers much less head and...
Yes of course kWh!
The race was the 2nd Swiss Energy GP at the race track in Lignieres.
It started at 19.00 and ended at 7.00 in the morning. Every car got an outlet of 240 V and 32 A for charging! And that was the Catch 22!
The three top placed renault Zoe's have been able to charge much faster...
We are in love with our Zoe's! It is a super mini! On track at a 12 hours race the 22 kW has beaten the 85 kW Model S.
And the new 40kW car is even better!
