Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

I disagree with that from a moral standpoint but I also think from a logical one making sure the program could be funded longer and support buyers less familiar with Tesla - eg don’t own the stock - would be better for the teslanaire’s future TSLA gains anyway.

For all the “small miss” articles there’s also quite a bit of press about musk nailing it dead on from 2014. Gives the 20 mil a year by 2030 target a lot more credibility.

We Well... apparently I am not the best at reading. Thank you for clearing that up. I somehow saw two price reductions and just assumed 1 was for Y and 1 for 3.

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

I realize I could be misunderstanding but a 30% price drop implies that the profit margin in Q4 for MIC model 3 was like 40-50% doesn’t it? Doesn’t that bode incredibly well for Q4 earnings? Edit: to some extent I’m sure this is due to China labor cost. But I imagine some of it is due to line...

I think this is the kind of thing they would do whether or not it was in the bag. 510k instead of 501k would be as significant as 500k instead of 491k. And adding FSD for 3 months is a zero cost marketing campaign. Free supercharging isn’t. This is just the first time there is much to...

Elon has stated before he wished he had done as much from the beginning. Around the time of the solar city deal. Elon’s second company was x.com. Pretty sure he still owns the domain.

I'm curious if there is a point that people feel like would be good for Elon to step away from Tesla. I'd love to see him commiting more energy to neuralink and boring co. It seems like he built a pretty amazing company of people at Tesla. It would be nice to seem him step back just so that...

Please don't lump Cathy in with cramer. Cramer got on the wagon very late in the game imo. I got in a twitter fight with some of his team not much more than a year ago where they were absurdly bearish on Tesla.

What works for some people doesn't work for others. But I did some rough math and I am pretty sure I'd be a much happier person if I never played the short term option game. Obviously others will have the opposite story though

Holy crap. That's just crazy. Who spends enough time at burger king that a 25 mile per hour charge is worth plugging in to. I've had to use a blink charger once, in Seattle. And it was a frustrating experience for which I didn't feel like it was worth the effort when I unplugged in the end.

I found that zoom to be really untrustworthy. But given the makeup of the board it still has gravitas. Enough gravitas to be up 20% premarket again after going up 30% yesterday. But by their own admission they are 5 years out from anything so I agree with your conclusion.

I value his input because he's critical of Tesla but knows enough to know it's a good investment. It too often feels like an echo chamber in my circle. Even if he's wrong with most of his criticism, if he's right sometimes it's good to be aware of it.

From the wiki you linked, seemed potentially relevant. Shelley's play concerns Prometheus' release from captivity, but unlike Aeschylus' version, there is no reconciliation between Prometheus and Jupiter (Zeus). Instead, Jupiter is abandoned by his supportive elements and falls from power...

I do hope them finding a successor to Elon is in the plans. He seems like not the worst choice. Elon has made Tesla what it is an will forever be part of Teslas DNA. But it would be nice to not need him to be CEO so that he could be less tied down by the beaurcracy. That guy has way to many...

So, the only thing that makes me think it will actually succeed is the fact JB is on the board. I don't think there's actually enough information public at this point for anyone to actually make a judgement one way or the other - I am probably wrong about that tho. So, now that kensington...

I increasingly feel like these wealth rankings are total BS. I'm sure there are far more wealthy people in both russia and china. Probably the middle east as well. And probably even in the US. I realize it's not relevant but musk's wealth ranking isn't super relevant either.

Yes Not suggesting you do trade options because it's easy to lose a bunch. But robinhoods UI is not so bad got options trading. They even have push button iron condor setups and such. Again not advising you to trade them, but after using E-Trade for years and then seeing robinhoods UI I...

Worth noting that Ark provides tiers price targets with like 6 tiers. The reason they are delaying release of the price targets might be a desire to see where FSD is at general release so instead of one moonshot target with robotaxis theyll have multiple robotaxi targets eg: 1. robotaxis in...

I've seen some of those videos. They are on the 3rd or 4th version since the initial limited release. Maybe I'm overly optimistic again but I think much of that type of stuff will be fixed for the most part by release. I think by release it will be able to identify when it knows it doesn't...

Just wanted to point out that it's seems possible that FSD will come out in software version 11, which frankly seems more of a catalyst than s and p would be. Not saying robotaxi time, but should prove that robotaxis are actually doable with a Tesla. Maybe I'm overly optimistic but it feels...

Dividends Edit: if they do dividends. If Tesla hits 4T and elons still owns 20% aka 1T a 2% dividend would give him 20billion a year.
