What is the tire rubbing on? If it's the vent slats I just shaved them down a bit using a Dremel on my old S and the rubbing went away. If it's not that, you can also try heating the liner up with a heat gun and pushing it back a bit to get some more clearance.

I’ve thought of doing this instead of getting spacers that bolts on to the existing studs. It’s probably safer to install longer studs with spacers that don’t need to be bolted on.

I don’t think that has ever happened. If your changing your front bumper to match a facelift but the rest of your car is a prefacelift Tesla won’t need to run your VIN to know that lol. They’ll just look at your car and see it’s modified. If they chose to void warranty based on that, who knows.

I mean looks aside, the usability factor isn’t that much different than the old screen. Either way it is a nice upgrade

My best bet is that this screen has the ability to pair Bluetooth devices to it, otherwise it doesn’t make sense why Tesla would change it. Unless they really didn’t like thick bezels (never bothered me anyways)

To those looking to upgrade from the HID to LEDs I would not recommend it. The HIDs IMO have a better beam spread than the LEDs, if you want to upgrade, have the lens upgraded and HID bulb and it will be head over heels better than the LED headlights

I would bet that if the retrofit works for the 2021+ refresh models it may work with the the 2016+ models since they share the same headlights and tail lights up until the recent Matrix upgrade

Yes I agree with what you said, but my question is if XL tires are requirement. On the PMCtire website it shows that the tires are fine but just wanted to double check before I mount them

Had a look at this, looks like running a SL tire isn't much or a safety risk maybe just some worse wear and a little less stability.

Hello all, picked up a set of winter tires for my Refresh LR. Noticed that the front tires don't have the "Extra Load" load rating but the rears do. The front tires load rating is 100V so according to that the tires can withstand the weight of my S, not sure if I need XL tires and can't find too...

Interesting you say that while the Taycan weighs quite a bit more than the Model S and is about ~300hp down on power, 1 less motor and is on a generally older platform than the Model S. It still beat the Plaids time, so putting it really into perspective I would say it’s quite the feat.

Got around to installing the BC Forged off my old pre refresh S and they fit literally the exact same on my refresh S. They look great. Only slight issue is the wheel nuts don’t go on as many threads as stock. They still turns 7-8 times so I’m comfortable with that. Only one thread is visible.

Oh no I haven’t lowered the car. What happened was I was using cheetah mode, the car launched but never went back up then those errors came.

That's probably because your VIN hasn't been marked as sold yet, so you cannot buy any parts or service for it since its still owned by Tesla.

There is no inventory of LRs here in Canada, plus the VIN is a new VIN 485003. It’s a new build for sure just not sure if they built it with the matrix lights. No reports of that happening yet so just curious.

To those who have got a VIN did the picture of the car update to show the new headlights? Mine still shows the old headlights... hopefully Tesla didn't start building LRs with the old headlights

Delivery scheduled for this coming Saturday. Was informed my car will have summer tires and no key fobs. Already tried and asked if the summers can be swapped for all seasons as others here have said they were able to get them swapped on Tesla's dime. Was told that would not be a possibility...
