Had mine replaced free of charge under the 8 year battery warranty while I waited.

I've heard that the Maryland excise tax credit program has not been funded yet. Has anyone actually received a refund for a car purchased in 2023? In addition, I don't see any mention of income or tax liability constraints on the purchaser. Am I missing something in this regard?

Good news: I can confirm that if they place the wheel stops properly, the cables will reach as the lines are now. 😉 Bad news: No sign of a transformer.

I knew you'd have the answer. I was thinking along those lines as I noticed the holes in the wall and lack of the usual black structure along the floor indicated it wasn't a standard installation. The level 2 guess was a last second idea that I'm glad you didn't endorse. Thanks!

Any idea what those electrical boxes against the wall are for? I don't recall seeing those installed at any other locations. Level 2 charging perhaps?

I'm curious if the backwards intallation is because they have plans to retrofit with Magic Docks, and this positioning would make it easier for non-Teslas to charge while in the proper parking space. Then again, maybe it's just a mistake. Someone needs to sneak in there and see if the cable...

It's not wasting any energy to charge 1 hour before leaving instead of 8,10 or 12 hours before leaving. I have no blended braking option on v2022.8.10.8 which is the most recent one available for my old fossil. Besides, I wouldn't want to disturb the spider webs on my brake pads. :)

Yes there is. Cold batteries provide little to no regenerative braking , which is very annoying.

I noticed the pin has returned on Tesla's map with a targeted opening of Q1 2023. I don't check this very often, so not sure when that happened.

The outside walls are all store fronts and fancy brick sidewalks, although there are several grates and access hatches in one section very near to the chargers.

All the work here looks complete, however, I am unable to determine the location of the transformer. Covers are still on the chargers and the meter is still off.

Stopped by this morning. Saw no sign of any staged equipment or new conduit being installed.

The two are separated by only a narrow walk-able alley. One is a large public garage with access from both Elm St. and Bethesda Ave. The Colonial garage is a small privately owned one in the basement of the apartment/shopping building next door.

@MarcoRP and @Chuq time to remove these locations? Another year has passed and Tesla still does not show a grey pin for Bethesda on their map anymore. The permits still have a status of Stop Work, and those permits are only good for one year anyway.

Ha, that's what they said about Frederick, and then Rockville and the imaginary town of North Bethesda. When I left Gaithersburg yesterday there were 2 cars waiting to charge.
