    [UK] Spring Software Update

Look to teslalogger as that already supports the new API and was the basis of teslamate

Well there's nothing of the occupancy network and that's the basis of FSDb (a single cyclist riding beside me was rendered from both side cameras, vehicle disappear when they go behind others...)

It's very busy, the only +ve being that junction lines are now rendered in the correct place

    UK FSD Discussion

The EAP code base that we run on has indeed been abandoned multiple years ago, but that in NA has the occupancy network etc. (originally called Tesla vision) You only have to watch highway driving clips on YouTube to see the massive changes Remember FSD is just driving on city streets

There's some level of intelligence in the.matrix that understands that each headlight is installed slightly different and accounts for what it sees No idea why they haven't bothered addressing the headlight alignment

The car doesn't receive a schedule, that's purely within octopus which then issues the start and stop charging commands as per that schedule, which can and does change
  13. goRt

    [UK] 2024.8.x

The data comes from the Tesla servers, so unless a change has been made to the API data then an update on the car would also break the Tesla app

Undertaking in terms of changing a lane to do so is not allowed but if the left lane is flowing faster than the next and you were already travelling in it then it is not an offence to pass

Surely, as this tariff is designed to shift load, the off-peak rate should be the one to drop

    Matrix headlights - finally???

It's the opposite - the sensor was there and working, just not taken into account by the USA coders
  22. goRt

    Matrix headlights - finally???

It's been a legal requirement since the introduction of xenon headlights that there's an axle sensor Tesla had it but forgot to code it in during the adjustment during some software updates
  23. goRt

    Matrix headlights - finally???

I expect that there's an assumed beam pattern and an AI deployed to adjust per vehicle

There's debate elsewhere about the Telsa lights not being compliant with that standard

    Matrix headlights - finally???

My 2022 M3 had the setting change some time ago, that's when the code was updated to account for the ride sensor on European cars

That bug was fixed some time ago - taking account of the European requirement for a self leveling sensor is now in the code

No more impressive than European cars for the last 10 years. Zero reason why this can't be implemented on the facelifted cars from the past 3 years - I've always said it's a trivial exercise to implement once the auto high beams were sorted
