Who is waiting on the 2024 changes to order a Plaid?

You're right. Looks like Porsche website has updated for the new 2025 models for order. Just saw the EE video which has those major improvements you've mentioned over the 1st gen Taycans.

Who is waiting on the 2024 changes to order a Plaid?

Same. Went to the Porsche dealer and sat inside the Taycan and it's crazy how nice it's inside compared to the Tesla. I am being patient to see what rolls out from now until end of year. Hoping some kind of upgrade/refresh with the S or at least wait for the 2025 Taycan that is said to have...

 Yea sure. Will reply to your post when I get this infotainment at a discount or upgraded for free. You know how it is to be an early adopter with Tesla.

Tesla infotainment system upgradeable from MCU1 to MCU2

Smart business move on Tesla. How many of us 2.0/2.5 with paid FSD are waiting for our free HW3 upgrade? Tesla SC/Mobile will be swamped with this task and not get paid to do it. So they offer this infotainment upgrade knowing a majority are going to fork over $2500 to get this upgrade and they...

    New FSD details

Bought my S back in June 17 with just EAP and no FSD. FSD shows as a $3k option now in My Tesla, but Elon tweeted it will be adjusted to $2k for those who purchased EAP. Keep seeing posts that you will get HW3 upgrade only if you purchased FSD before, so if I buy FSD now, I won't get HW3.0? I...

    Tesla Referral Program

Hello, I got 4 referrals last year and on October 18, 2017, received an email from Tesla that my 4th referral has taken delivery of their vehicle and I am being thanked with a founder series powerwall (see attached email). I immediately filled out the survey as I've been anxious to get this...

    255/35/21 All Around 75D

Hello, Visited a local tire shop to have a nail patched and the manager came up asking if I would like a set of Michelin PSS in 255/35/21 for $400. He said they had accidentally ordered it and it's the 2nd Tesla they have seen in their store so they want to get rid of them. The tires are $302...

Holy crap I have my car at service center for a noise issue and I just got this text!! "Good news! The 75D performance upgrade has been approved for your Model S! We can get that done today and should have it ready to pick up before we close at 3pm." I have an April 2017 build 75D. Picked up...

Squealing from regen braking - Help?

Didn't even think of it like that. You are right. I will be sure to mention this when I drop it off Friday. Thanks for this feedback. I have taken 2 techs on the ride, one even driving my vehicle and reproducing the issue. Figured that would be good enough but stuck in the same issue.

Squealing from regen braking - Help?

Hi all, I have taken my 2017 Tesla 75D twice to service for the same issue and they diagnose and resolve the issue the same way each time which is not what is happening with my car. When I slow down to make a right turn without applying any brakes, the left front makes a squealing type noise...

75 and 75D variants increased performance from July 1st - software and hardware improvements?

Same situation. SAS was removed for a few months in early 2017 and I believe those that purchased a 75 model Tesla at that time, including myself, got screwed. I wanted SAS but it wasn't an option and I purchased the PUP solely for the liftgate and LED/headlight reasons. Picked up the car...

    0 to 60 uncork

I think from what we all have gathered so far is the 75 may require both hardware/software while the 75D is just software. Still no clear answer but that is what it has been seeming like. The manager at my SC even said he could uncork mine (75D) within minutes but can't without approval from...

Been emailing Tesla about the uncorking but get the same answer that car can't be uncorked. Have an April 2017 S75D build. Visited the SC and brought it up, basically the manager said he would uncork my car if he could, but he can't without permission from corporate. He even went on to saying it...

Seeking Tips for Taking Delivery This Weekend!

What month was it produced? Lots of improvements came out in July including the new motor that is 1 second faster, rear seats, and air suspension included for free. Not sure if you looked into that and tried building a new one and comparing it to what your getting inventory.

    Completely Disgusted.

Well said. Couldn't agree with this more. Most on this community encourage owners to just accept it and bow to the mighty Tesla even when they have some grounds to argue about. I hope more owners will voice their concerns and any unhappy experience they have went through directly with Tesla...

I appreciate the unnecessary lesson on what lies and promises are. You can twist it however you want to defend Tesla. Point is I asked a question, was given a a solid answer to my question, and it turned out the answer was not true. So to all of your arguments this is perfectly OK...

Ah ok so because it wasn't intentional then it makes it all OK and the employee shouldn't be held accountable anymore nor Tesla. It's always my fault if I get told lies or broken promises when dealing with Tesla. Sounds good.

    Completely Disgusted.

So it's ok for them to lie to their customers when they ask a question that would determine their buying decision. Gotcha. Yea it amazes me too that I can't even trust the brand I am dealing with to answer all my questions that I have to go and do my own "research".

I didn't ask about future changes. I asked IF there would be any changes between the inventory model they wanted me to take VS the one I had being built. I was told no. Wether the DS knew there was a change or not doesn't matter. If he knew then he obviously deceived me. If he didn't then he...
